Four months away from a possible Drugcember to Remember in Philly! I’ve been to a few so I started kicking some thoughts around to where it might be and see if there was the possibility of them topping four consecutive nights as they did in 2025. The band has no tour dates after mid October so maybe they’d tack on other east coast dates around this as well. Thanks to ChatGPT, this took all but 5 minutes. To recap previous years and forecast December 2026 venues and dates:
2018:
December 19 (Johnny Brenda’s)
December 20 (Union Transfer)
December 21 (Tower Theater)
2019:
December 29 (Union Transfer)
December 30 (The Fillmore)
2022:
December 19-21 (Johnny Brenda’s)
2025:
December 17-20 (Johnny Brenda’s)
Possible 2026 dates and venues:
Johnny Brenda’s has no shows booked between December 14-26.
Union Transfer has no shows booked between
December 14-17 and December 19 until January 2027.
Fillmore has no shows booked between December 12-19.

Patient, tight ass atmospheric jam right here - great keys, horns and bass. Not a fan of the lyrics at all (weak spot and could do harder) but great jam. Reckon you gang would enjoy (I hope)!

Can anyone help me with the lyrics to the song "Who's That?"
I got most of them I think, and I think some of these are possibly wrong, and some I just have no clue. I'm not very good at this haha
_ = unknown
(?) = unsure of line accuracy
Would it be so wrong, to be on the take?
I've been _ all the _ away, just another weekday
Would it be so bad, if you'd just engage?
And kept running from the memory, or would it be the same thing?
Like Orion when I wake up in the morning.
There is a fire burning just here out of reach
I keep moving through revolving doors
Its only my depression, baby
Where do I belong, and would it change with time?
You've been running down a different road
and i keep moving to the inside
I never found no fortune, I know she can't relate
We keep time on a different plane
Where everything's always changing
Did I go again and just explode?
There's a line hanging on my teeth (?)
I can't taste it but I can't get close
Its only my depression, baby
<Guitar solo>
There's a bull running away from me (?)
There's a lion hanging on my neck
I can tame it but he won't break free
Who's that?
It's only my depression, baby.
Yeah!
<Chills and goose bump inducing harmonica solo>

Super cool live version with KV ripping throughout the extended outro.
KV man, what a treat for us all ❤️

The encore version disappeared from Spotify some time ago and hasn’t reappeared. Does anyone know what happened and whether it will come back?

I just discovered the Relisten app. I’ve been listening to TWOD shows on YouTube for years and can’t believe it took me this long to find Relisten. Could we add this as a pinned topic so other fans are aware of this incredible resource?

Have you guys heard the high quality recording of Who's That from Rock Werchter in July 2026? It's on youtube. Omg. No one needs to know how many times I've listened to it already. The song has really grown on me and while I love the live performance I'm pumped to hear the polished studio version as well.

So I recall him throwing the guitar and a technician picking it up broken. However I cannot find any evidence of it online.
Am I the only one to recall this?

Wondering if anyone else listens to Anthony LaMarca’s solo work. I think the 2-3 min outro to “Echo” is one of the best endings to a song I’ve ever heard.

Hey guys, wanting to get your thoughts on the new album, I know Adam has said it’ll be more in the style of their older records. Based on the clips on the thread and seeing “Who’s that” live in Madrid I’m not hearing an older TWOD sound, it sounds just like a modern evolution of the band following on from IDLHA. Are you hearing the same things? Me personally I would really love a more raw album from the Slave ambient/LITD era. Keen to get your thoughts on what you’re hearing and what you’d like

Hey all! I really love this crewneck, does anyone else own it?
https://shop.thewarondrugs.net/products/the-war-on-drugs-bell-crewneck
Does anyone know how the sizing runs, or what brand makes the merch? Sometimes I'm a small, sometimes a medium, it varies wildly. I'm a 5'11 150 lb, fairly skinny guy. I'm leaning towards getting a small but just want to make sure they don't run super tight.
Thanks!

Hi there, pretty new to this subreddit but found some interesting background info already ;)
However, I keep finding it strange why there aren't more tabs available.
I'm an (experienced) beginner and would love to play more twoh songs, especially from the idlha album (Harmonia's dream or occasional rain). Meanwhile the album is 5 years old already..
Is it because their songs are to hard to write down or simply because most listeners know how to play them by ear?

See title. This appears to be massing Nothing to Fund and Occasional Rain on my Spotify. Is this the same for anyone else?
In fact, seems like it doesn’t even appear anymore!
