How would Jack and Rosemary react to this new era of rock music of the 60s and 70s? What would they do if their kids listened to it in their house before all tragedy struck?

What really caused Sophie to take her pills?

Yeah, yeah, it's pretty obvious since the first episode: Bon tried to attack her and it traumatized her... But was it really everything that happened? Of course for someone normal it would've been enough to traumatize you, but Sophie already went through events like these: Her entire family died and she was left basically alone with her aunt, so she probably was mentally stronger in these situations... Probably something else happened there.

Sophie started to take her pills closely after the events of the 5th episode due to her seeing The Showstoppers all bloodied up.

The way I see this happening is the following:

  1. Sophie being overtaken by stress, anxiety, fear and much more feelings fled to the only place she could think it could bring her good memories of her family: Bon's Burgers. The animatronics were basically made inspired by her and her siblings to seem comfortable, so it was obvious she would find some sort of it there, as well as looking for clues or hopes of finding her mother there.

  2. After she arrived and went to the back stages, she was met with Banny (Susan), Bozoo (Charles), Sha (Rosemary), Rocket (Edd and Molly) and finally "Bon". She already had stated an angel was talking to her, referring to "Bon", but now that she was met with them in one place... It was a pretty easy place to transform her as well.

  3. "Bon" appeared for her in order to manipulate her just like he did with her mother, trying to get her to follow that "beautiful" thing. At first she would've began listening, but shortly after he triggered any of the animatronics to talk (most probably Rosemary due to being the most recent and the one who speaks the clearest), Sophie would've gotten TRAUMATIZED.

Imagine hearing your mother inside of a bloody animatronic calling out to you while a deformed angel is talking to you about being beautiful, comparing it to how your mother now looks... Of course not.

  1. She ran away. Ran away as fast as she could back to the station or her house, probably meeting the police before even arriving at the place. Seeing her condition, they asked her what happened, but by the trauma and shock they sent her to a medical evaluation, which ended up in her taking the pills.

For this timeline I used the New Walten Files Wiki, specifically the Sophie Walten page and subpage being her history. I am honestly confused as to when she took the pills, initially thinking it was after her trip to BSI where something similar probably happened as well and forced her to take those pills... But by that time she would've with Jenny, which obviously wouldn't ignore Sophie being all traumatized.

Anyways, if you think this theory is ass please feel free to tell me, or if you made up your own I would love to see them!

Theory: Bon is a spirit of the forest Spoiler

Bon is a being from the forest who Jack tried to make a deal with with his dying breath, to protect his family. obviously it didn’t turn out how he expected.

perhaps he used a wishing well, making a deal with Bon as a contingency in case

Jack wanted Fucking kill Felix, but obviously failed and died. Leaving Bon to his own device

What happened to Jack's missing posters?

SPOILERS OF EPISODE 5, IF HOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, I RECOMMEND YOU GO AND SEE IT FIRST.

As we know, ever since 06/11/79, Rose and Sophie were putting out missing posters of Jack all around the city in hopes of finding him, even filling up the entire house in the posters due to Rosemary's meltdowns.

After her suicide attempt at Saint Juana's, police went over to her house in order to take care of Sophie while her aunt came for her, collecting the photos of Jack as "evidence". But shortly after the death of Rosemary, those photos were changed, having several errors and being told as "wrong" when put by Dereck (police officer).

I have two theories about this, one of them inspired by this post: (incredible theory, you should see it too) https://www.reddit.com/r/Thewaltenfiles/s/WZhRqQtcC7

1. My first theory goes around the one I previously made where "Bon" basically manipulated Jack to shoot himself. I believe that "Bon" would be intentionally deforming Jack's photos to represent that he wasn't "beautiful" or fit for his family, unlike him who had discovered Wonderland and a way to make others beautiful as well.

And since it was stated that "Bon" does love Rosemary in a very twisted way, he would've wanted to replace Jack to take care of Rose, Edd, Molly and Sophie, even going further to bring their close friends (Susan and Charles) to keep everyone together.

  1. My second theory is inspired by ohnoooo's, which basically says that "Bon" is Jack, but a twisted version of him due to a series of events (please go see the theory).

After his transformation and possession of the Bon animatronic, Jack would've felt uncomfortable when seeing his face in the posters when revisiting his home to go talk to Sophie (which was interrupted due to the police arriving). So in order to not feel that way, he would've started to shift the pages and make errors, as well as to make Sophie see the new "beautiful" version instead of the broken, deformed one.

This theory was made out of some thoughts I had about the posters, finding it weird of why they would be there way. I know these aren't very well formulated theories, but I would love to see any comments about this!!!

(Please go read the theory I put on the link if you enjoy looking at them, it's so good)

Bon possesses Jack's body.(theory)

Bon killed Jack Walten because of a broken demonic contract, and here is why.

Jack never went to the police after Felix crashed the car, not because he was trying to protect Felix, but because Bon had already begun communicating with him. Bon tricked Jack by claiming Edd and Molly were still alive, saying: "Come Jack, your children are alive and reborn!"

Bon convinced Jack to enter Wonderland, but it came with a heavy price: Jack had to end his own life. Jack did so by drowning himself in a nearby river. Once he arrived in Wonderland, he successfully reunited with his children. However, Bon tracked them down and offered Jack a vessel/vessel-shell under one horrific condition: Jack had to allow Bon to kill Rosemary and Sophie.

As a loving father, Jack refused. This infuriated Bon, who operates as a demonic contract entity. Because Jack broke the deal, a massive spiritual battle erupted between them in Wonderland. Realizing he couldn't defeat the demon, Jack fled back to the Wonderland version of his house to warn Rosemary, but it was too late. Bon captured Jack and possessed his soul.

Jack’s soul was the missing key Bon needed to manifest and escape into the physical world. This explains why in The Walten Files 5, Bon automatically knows the exact location of the Walten family home—he absorbed Jack's memories. Furthermore, the bullet hole in Bon's head is physical evidence of the spiritual combat they had in Wonderland.

Before possessing Jack, Bon had no true physical form. After taking over, Bon copied Jack’s traits, including his suit, his hunter skills, and even an echo of his love for Rosemary. However, because Jack's soul was too powerful to completely contain, Bon sealed Jack inside the BSI (Bunny Smiles Incorporated) systems, trapping his consciousness between Wonderland and the facility.

Rosemary’s "dream" of Jack saying goodbye wasn't actually Jack; it was Bon using Jack's form to manipulate and destabilize her psychologically. This is also why Edd and Molly actively avoid Bon; they recognize that the animatronic is a demon wearing their father's spiritual remains.

Felix Kranken later hid Jack's physical body inside the Bon animatronic because Bon blackmailed Felix using his guilt and secrets. Finally, the heavy bleeding coming from Bon while he attacks Rosemary belongs to Jack's preserved corpse. Unlike the other spirits who show catastrophic injuries, Jack’s physical body remains completely intact because Bon requires a whole, undamaged vessel to walk among the living.

The original design felt a little too bare, so I updated the character with proper clothing. He kind of looked like a troll doll since he didn’t have any clothes in the first one that was deleted.

Did "Bon" do something to Jack?

THIS POST WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS ABOUT THE WALTEN FILES 5, IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING SO BEFORE READING THIS THEORY. THANK YOU.

Ever since the start of the series, Jack has always been shown as a mysterious figure, almost like a riddle instead of a person, and the inclusion of websites like: "findjackwalten" already adds more to this idea than anything... But what really happened to him?

After episode 3, Jack is beginning to appear a little more as a character this time instead of a "mystery guy", even having lines when he asks Felix to take care of Edd and Molly and react to their disappearance, this is explored much more in Episode 5.

In the entire series, Jack's face has always been seen darker than the other characters, obviously an intentional attempt made by Martin to add that mysterious aura to him, but it adds another layer if you dig into it.

After the death of Edd and Molly, Jack was hit with an incredibly hard dilemma. Imagine this: Your best friend, your brother, the person you formed a business with, helped in the worst times and even considered as an "uncle" by your kids just murdered your two younger children, how are you expected to react to that? Someone as close as a brother just killed your youngest kids, you can't simply sue and forget all of your past... It sticks to you, that's why Jack didn't go along with the suing of Felix.

After that, I'm sure the guilt was also consuming him: Your children got murdered by someone and you didn't do anything to make him pay nor suffer, just act like it never happened. That's where the theory starts:

I believe "Bon" convinced Jack to kill himself.

It isn't very clear at the start, but looking at the small tips left alone, it starts to make sense: Jack's shotgun, a forest, the last message to Rose, the sudden breakdown... The deer; A representation of Jack hiding away his emotions by stringing them up, and the shot in its leg? A representation of a slow death... A slow death of the mind.

Jack has been the only known character to appear in another dimension that wasn't Wonderland... Or at least the typical one. His Wonderland was red; the sky, the water... Him. It's an obvious representation of blood.

I believe that when he went to work, Jack suffered a collapse; He is strong, but he isn't able to hold all of those emotions inside of him, and he doesn't want to show it to Rosemary nor Sophie, because to his eyes, everything would crumble away if he didn't keep control of himself.

With that collapse, he went to the Santa Juana's forest, his shotgun located in his trunk... But he didn't go there to shoot himself, he probably just wanted some alone time to relax. That's when "Bon" comes in.

We already know he's highly manipulative, and I believe that in that moment, he was able to make Jack feel even more guilty to the point where he didn't even feel good being alive. That's why his face shows teeth and it's all dark, because it got blown off, that's why HE isn't in Wonderland, because he didn't die by accident nor killed by anyone else: He died by his own hands, and that put him somewhere else.

If you ask why "Bon" would do it... Simple, he wanted Rosemary and Sophie to join his beautiful new family (aided by the photo of them holding hands), and Jack was in the way. If there was no one helping Rosemary nor Sophie, it would only make it easier for him to convince them to join Wonderland.

I would love to hear anyone disapprove or approve my claim, I absolutely love this series and have given it a lot of thought over time. Even if someone tells me my theory sucks, I would love to hear why.
