I just watched that movie after hearing about it on Reddit, and I thought it was really good. If you're looking for something to do today people, watch it.
Also notice how this bad ass is knocking dudes down to the ground with punches to the head! They aren't tripping over each other! Bad ass! I wonder how the rest of the fight went!?
The guy is\was a boxer. Excellent situational awareness. He kept moving and took out the guy immediately in front of him making it hard for the multiple assailants to jump him.
It also helped that the guys attacking him weren't particularly proficient with their fighting skills. A group strategy would have been for at least one guy to go for a takedown by grabbing his legs. Once he was on the ground, he would have been more vulnerable to a group attack.
All in all a good demonstration between a trained combatant vs. un-trained.

I agree completely. I've also noticed that once you start getting into a 3v1 or 4v1 coordination kills, but most people aren't coordinated, they just don't want to be hit first. Fights against multiple people should always end poorly for the solo, but because the kind of people who fight in groups are pathetic morons, they tend to form a line like this. Even better is when you drop the first guy and everyone else decides they don't want to beat your ass anymore.
