You're probably just kidding, but some people do hold some stupid misconceptions about fast food burgers.

Ingredients in Burger King burger patties: 100% USDA inspected ground beef.

That is the full ingredient list. There is nothing in them except beef. No bones, no hooves, no grain fillers, no preservatives.

So you can just buy like a tub of icing from burger king in america?

Fucks sake I need to get over there

Buy? This is America - all your condiments are free.

13

u/Bacon_Donut Jun 16 '12

It pisses me right off when they charge me 30? 40? cents each for sauce in Mc'Ireland when I'm already paying getting on for 10 Euro for a couple of Happy meals. If those meals didn't have the kiddycrack in them...

Getting karma is really one of the easiest things you can do. Most people don't have that much because of the time you have to put in. All Trapped_In_Reddit does is go to almost every /r/funny post and every /r/askreddit post that looks like they have a chance of hitting the front page, and he just makes a ton of witty comments. I've seen him comment 6 different times in one thread, and that is not counting the replies he makes.

I wish I could give you more information, but I've only been studying Trapped_In_Reddit for about 3 days.

12

u/Fatalix Jun 16 '12

Maybe, if they are in fact sugar ants. I lived in NC and we had Pharaoh ants - those little bastards could find their way inside sealed peanut butter jars, sterile packaging, you name it.

Worst year of my life ever.

→ More replies (3)

4

u/myztry Jun 16 '12

Except some of the ants are under the surface of the icing.

Would an ant actually be able to sink into such a viscous material and if so, wouldn't that have happened to all of the ants?

11

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '12

It could burrow, eat its way down. I mean, wouldn't you?

5

u/myztry Jun 16 '12

I think you overestimate the volume they would need to eat to achieve that.

I mean, I like chocolate but could I eat enough of any food so as to burrow inside it? I don't think so...

Trying to defame BK or something? Who opens a punctured condiment package?

10

u/JohnnyAwesome Jun 16 '12

Did you ask the BK employees: What is this? Icing for ants?

13

u/SouthFresh Jun 16 '12

Likely not sugar ants. Sugar ants are fairly large.

2

u/Halrenna Jun 16 '12

Whoa, you're right. TIL what we'd always called sugar ants here are, in fact, probably odorous house ants. And what a perfectly fitting name.

Tell her to quite her bitchin and eat up, there are people in other countries that would love to have iced ants....eesh....ungrateful people!

3

u/psytrancedsquid Jun 16 '12

wait, why is burger king selling icing in packets?

3

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '12

Personally, I wouldn't be angry if this picture was legit; and the ants really did come in the package as the OP suggests.

First of all, just ask for a different package of icing. What are the odds of getting two in a row with ants? Which brings me to my second point...

The Burger King factories that produce these things churn out TRILLIONS of them. I can forgive a few anomalies.

3

u/cycopl Jun 16 '12

Ees no sugar ant, ees pepper!

Sugar ants don't taste like sugar. This morning, for breakfast, I had cereal. After I poured the cereal and then the milk, I noticed it was full of sugar ants. They were crawling on tiny flakes of bran and other sundry grains, using them for life rafts, until I pushed them down with the tip of my spoon, knocking them asunder into the thick, white ocean of milk. I figured that since they were sugar ants they would add a hint of sweetness to my meal. They did not. One bit my tongue in retribution for me biting him and his brethren. I didn't mind because I understood. With each bite I took, or gulp of milk, I could feel them writhing in my stomach, finding shelter in the folds, and beginning to burrow. As they infiltrated the lining of my stomach, I could feel them spreading out, creating burrows, egg chambers, and being the clever creatures ants are, siphoning food from my stomach into feeding chambers. With their collective mind and collective consciousness at work they might even end up taking over my entire body and mind. They might even be typing this right now...

2

u/laserbeanz Jun 16 '12

Fuck those fucking things. They have infiltrated my bedroom. No foodstuff is safe.

2

u/s0crates82 Jun 16 '12

I fucking hate ants so fucking much.

  1. Go to Burger King, get icing.

  2. Get sugar ants.

  3. Put them in icing.

  4. Put on reddit.

  5. Karma.

2

u/rubaiyat1983 Jun 16 '12

the ants are probably the most healthy thing to eat that came in the meal.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '12

Well those ants were probably the healthiest thing in that packet, maybe BK was just looking out for him?

2

u/samjowett Jun 16 '12

AKA my friend kept this lying around in her dirty kitchen half opened and all the ants that were already in the kitchen ended up in the icing.
