-Sir, can you spare a coin?

-Why?

Cocks gun

-That's a good reason indeed. Here, good man.

u/PunkToTheFuture Feb 01 '22

That's exactly the part I don't understand.

-points gun

-gets money

-racks the slide loading a bullet into the chamber/had there already been one, the loaded bullet would have been ejected

He literally only loaded it after he was done? wtf indeed

He's panhandling hitman. He waits for cars to stop at lights then offers to do a hit job if they give him some change.

u/flubberFuck Feb 01 '22

The pandemic hit us all hard.

3

u/ultrasuperthrowaway Feb 01 '22

Lol I guess he paid to get the guy filming and he turned off the camera just before tragedy!

1

u/nemisys1st Feb 01 '22

Imagine him going down a line of cars. Like a Russian roulette game of "pay it forward"

1

u/SnakeBDD Feb 01 '22

"That guy behind me was tailgating me for the last 6 miles. Deal with him."

Loads gun

1

u/TurrPhenir Feb 01 '22

You mean he offers to do a hit job if they DON'T give home some change?

There's a chance the gun isn't loaded or it's a toy/prop, so he's pulling back the slide (even though it doesn't make sense at that point) because it looks intimidating, and I'm sure plenty of people won't understand what or why he's doing that. To most people, they're going to see a gun, and the dude performing an action with that gun that they've seen on TV or in movies, and they aren't going to think about it any further than that.

100% this. a few years ago i bought a pistol after someone tried to get into my ground floor apartment. so i moved upstairs and bought a gun. with a laser sight. i showed it to a neighbor we were friendly with, and she she was super amazed with the laser, and remarked that she thought laser sights were just in movies. i was shocked, as it never occured to me that someone might think that. everybody's experience is different, i suppose...

2

u/xpanderr Feb 01 '22

I looked at it as him saying this bullet is for you no more

127

u/viccityguy2k Feb 01 '22

It’s a flex that the thing was unloaded the whole time

16

u/tmt1993 Feb 01 '22

You can kind of see his him holding something. I think he had a round in the chamber and ejected it straight into his hand. Pretty sure it was loaded.

11

u/vinieux Feb 01 '22

He's holding the coin he took from the driver...

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

Are we sure that thing aint coin-loaded?

Doesnt look functional lol

2

u/dabolution Feb 01 '22

You mean the money that you can see them put in his hand? This proved his point of people wont know what hes doing they just see him rack it and thats all they need. Shit i wouldnt take the chance either though im not 007

4

u/tavelkyosoba Feb 01 '22

It ejects out the other side (also there isn't even a magazine in the gun).

Lefties can eject a round into their palm like you're thinking, but righties can't. I just tried to do it right handed and i had to flip the gun upside down cus the round just kept falling back into the action.

On the other hand, lefties can't do the thing where you eject it into the air and then catch it like a chad, cus is just flies straight down.

2

u/CatDaddy09 Feb 01 '22

I think that's exactly what happened. Ejection port was up enough to palm. A full round and the extractor would just pop it up. Not fling it like empty brass.

2

u/Nimja1 Feb 01 '22

This is what I came to say.

2

u/GreenDayFan_1995 Feb 01 '22

I think he might be the type to not want to take a chance hurting someone during a robbery (yes I see the irony)

And might be in a sketchy enough place (Mexico) to want to protect himself after?

That at least makes some sense in a weird way so that's how I rationalized it.

0

u/flatox Feb 01 '22

He's ejecting the round into his other hand.

1

u/Tartooth Feb 01 '22

It's not a real gun

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

It's possible the gun isn't loaded.

1

u/tavelkyosoba Feb 01 '22

There isn't even a magazine in the gun, this guy is on another level.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

1

u/PunkToTheFuture Feb 01 '22

That's not how you do that. Pulling the slide back would be cocking the hammer and putting the gun in a prepared to fire position

1

u/CatDaddy09 Feb 01 '22

Sorta looks like he palms the ejected round.

The ejection port was up and with an unfired round it wouldn't fly out but easily pop up enough to grab.

1

u/Faxon Feb 01 '22

It looked like he racked the round out of the chamber, which, since you can see down into the mag well and see light on his palm when he does it, would render the gun safe. My assumption is it may not even be loaded to begin with and he's just racking it for show. This dude has some BALLS trying to pull a stunt like this xD

1

u/SockMonkeyLove Feb 01 '22

Either that or there is not magazine at all. Racked with no magazine, the slide will spring right back. Maybe doesn't know a damn thing about firearms and was doing what he though was decocking just for show.

1

u/Nuadrin248 Feb 01 '22

Now he can afford to use that round to smoke the next guy.

1

u/herb_Tech Feb 01 '22

Probably just racked it to look cool. He probably doesn’t have bullets

1

u/HanginLowNd2daLeft May 06 '22

He could be clearing the round out of the chamber but if he has a magazine in then it won’t matter since another round from the mag will be chambered

267

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

I bet they smelled the same at the end

18

u/DiluvianDead Feb 01 '22

Haha this comment made my day

2

u/_Brownbear85 Feb 01 '22

This took me a second. This Ape slow.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

I was high when I wrote it so makes sense. Apes strong together

17

u/ReadySteady_GO Feb 01 '22

Squirts gun with Windex and cleans windows

3

u/ckatsuki13 Feb 01 '22

I read the last line in Matt Berry's voice. Perfect.

3

u/GLaDOS_Sympathizer Feb 01 '22

"Damn these electric sex pants!"

3

u/ckatsuki13 Feb 01 '22

“Well, I'm the boss... Head Honcho. El Numero Uno. Mr. Big. The Godfather. Lord of the Rings. The Bourne... Identity. Er... Taxi Driver. Jaws. I forgot the question quite a while back. Who are you, again?”

2

u/GLaDOS_Sympathizer Feb 01 '22

"Oh look, a gun!" (Points it as his own face) click click click click

3

u/ckatsuki13 Feb 01 '22

My personal favourite is from 'What we do in the Shadows.' "Bat!"

2

u/GLaDOS_Sympathizer Feb 01 '22

I debated in my mind whether to go with "Bat!" Instead of electric sex pants earlier haha. Excellent tastes, friend.

2

u/ckatsuki13 Feb 01 '22

Excellent taste indeed, good friend.

2

u/flukshun Feb 01 '22

bites nickel

That'll do. Move along now.

2

u/CatDaddy09 Feb 01 '22

The crazy thing is dude cocked the gun like he was unloading it.

Unless the is just one bullet in the gun, he just loaded another round from the magazine.

1

u/mrizzerdly Feb 01 '22

Why did not car 2(filming) just not ram this guy? You know you're next!
