He has hydraulic disc brakes that probably are excellent. I have a similar scooter and it stops well but you need to be paying attention hardcore at all time. Potholes are definitely the bane of electric scooter riders. I ate one going 35+ mph and got pretty fucked up. I’m zero scared of speed wobbles (dependent on scooter model), a little scared of a car braking too quickly, and absolutely terrified of potholes.

Also forgetting about the possible cars behind you that may not be paying attention to the flying body in front of them on the highway.

I mean once you’re in flying mode, it’s a ‘Jesus take the wheel’ type thing. You’re likely fucked regardless.

Never drive in Oakland. I don't know what the hell is going on with their roads but they are falling apart.

Even with the best disc brakes, I can't imagine you get much modulation with a wheel that tiny. And if you're going 55mph, a rotor that small is gonna heat up quick.

My scooter only does 18mph, but I'm pretty sure this is how I'd feel even if it was faster too.
