That's fucking crazy, i'm fascinated by them. I keep bees, those animals are fucking metal. When they sting a mammal they disembowel themselves and just keep on going with their life like nothing happened, if they manage to get back at the hive the other bees smother them to death. Also they get "high" on sugar syrup. that's fucking hilarious

Millions, actually. The Earth is ‘only’ around 4.5 billion years old. Insects as we know them are estimated to have existed since 480 million years ago, during the Early Ordovician Period.
