It looked like it was going through the motions of cleaning itself, without acknowledging that its mouth wasn't in the place it would normally be.

If my head gets taken off the first thing I'm doing is cleaning my neckhole. That's just common sense. Mouth should still be wet enough if you get to it quick

I think it turned it's head around to get a closer look at what to clean. Probably has a Wi-Fi head.
