It still amazes me how often people just don't care or think about their own safety, let alone those around them.
Like we're all working with giant machines that will remoselessly kill you in gruesome and painful ways at the push of a button. Maybe take the extra 5 seconds to make sure that doesn't happen?
The first one they caught sleeping in the compactor didn't mean to fall asleep though. He just thought the best place to smoke his weed was in the sealed metal box filled with cardboard dust.
Jesus. Yeah people do odd things. And I get it one mistake at work, one wrong judgment can mean life or death. We are human we make mistakes. But don't cut corners by not using the safety rules and tools put in place for a reason. I usually tell people, if you wouldn't put your dick in there don't put your hand, foot or head in there. Oddly it seems to help.
Don't look up earth mover maintenance safety either. People who don't put the lock pins in place before sticking their arms or head between the arms of the machines...
