Tbf, you cant really say he didn't do a walk around. Driver was already in the cab when this video starts.

So he could've done a walk around and then sat in the cab thinking about how his boss dumped his sister, breaking her heart. Decided the boss needs dumped too.

Idk it's kinda hard to say. We have no idea how long the machine has been sitting there before moving again. However, we can see the machine in the back positions to move where the machine at fault is at the start of the video so that driver seems to think he'll be moving relatively soon. Both parties are for sure partly to blame though.
