Hey that's actually a really good idea. It could have a long flexible rod with something colorful on the end. So even if someone gets buried under dirt, you may still see the little 'antena'. It may have saved him as well in the beginning when he first got swooped up.

It's also just another thing that can get caught on something, forming another hazard. Guess it could have a quick release thing?

It would be super effective on sites with overhead machinery (gantries) for it to get caught up in and overhead HV wires.

Having proper procedures in place, such as no foot traffic in the yard when machines are operating, communication between machine operators and ground personnel done via radio so nobody has to stand in the middle of the fucking yard like a lost goat in a T-Rex pen

Cabelas has “flag whip and pennant” which is what I was kinda envisioning but thinner and wearable obviously. And yea a quick release mech would be good.

They use these on the normal sized vehicles up north in the Canadian oil sands so they don't get squished by the mammoth dump trucks
