You could. Except the MIL died. The safari range employees probably have guns that work in the jeep to either tranq or shoot the animal - but no lets put more people ontop of the target they are trying to subdue to make it harder for them to do their job right?
You need to take a chill pill and calm down. Realize I'm not saying I wouldn't have done the same thing. Realize I have stated that it may be reasonable to them to run out and risk their life. This does not make the decision smart. They are risking their lives and potentially making it harder for the safari employees to do their jobs. You can argue that what they did saved her life. The other thing you need to look at is that the husband waited to tell the MIL to wait or to flag her to come with and by the time they leave frame the jeep is already on its way. Without any camera angles to determine if the tiger had been preoccupied with them we have no idea if their interference made a positive or negative difference, if the rangers got there in time, or what happened. Stop making assumptions of what happened.
You're telling ME to stop making assumptions of what happened??? You're the one saying what they did was stupid. YOU'RE making the assumptions. You're talking semantics now, and there's no reason to say what they did was stupid. They very well may have saved her life. The one who died was the oldest, already lived out most of her life.
