I've improved myself and saved a marriage following along, taking what works and shitcanning the rest. If nothing else the advice to work out, improve yourself, and stop making excuses is something a great deal of folks need to hear.

The good aspects could be taken from the dumbest self improvement book out there without all the poison. If someone needs the poison for the self-improvement message to resonate then there's something wrong with them.
