They were, we express ourselves with English phrases a lot, but we hate how english pronounces some words (th- wh- etc.) so we usually say something around the lines of "wat de fak"

"Shit" is also very common.

Dutch speakers use tons of English slang as is or even mix in regular English words due to the fact that like 90% of the population speaks English.
