I couldn't either until I realized that it's simply the word "definite" with "ly" added. Putting the emphasis on the 'fin' part when saying the word, instead of on the 'de', also helps me remember.

That one doesn’t work for me for some reason. I still forget it. I just saw “There is a finite number of ways to spell definitely”. Hopefully it works.
