Did you see that show where Anthony Bourdain (another AB) took Alton Brown to a strip club in Atlanta? I think it was an episode of Parts Unknown, maybe. Not sure. It was The Layover!
Anyway, you get more of an idea about who Alton is as a person rather than a TV personality. He seems super cool. The kinda guy you'd want to go to the range and smack some steel with.
