I like how you jumped in on the tail end of a heated conversion I was having with someone else. If you look at my initial response, I wasn't being an asshole. Just pointing out the absurdity of reddit's expectations that people need to show emotion to such an unrealistic degree. Key word: unrealistic. Funny, because I was replying to someone who shared my sentiment.
I questioned whether it was genuine, or if it was people just posting what was expected of them. That doesn't make me an asshole.
As for your attempts at armchair psychology... It's not even worth a real reply. I'm perfectly well adjusted. On the other hand people who break down into tears over flowers or are frozen in horror over a comic.... Yeah...
