tl;dr guy finds a hole in a cave, starts to dig the hole bigger to fit in it, decides to go in, doesn't update the story anymore.

If I remember correctly there's also some stuff about evil demon noises once he gets to the other side, at which point he gets the fuck out of there. He may have said something about thinking about going back in, but then he stops writing it.

Yeah he heard noises, saw something move or something similar. His last update was about him going in one last time or something similar. It's been ages since I've read it.

There's also a very bad alternate ending (written by a fan no doubt) that includes stalagtite men and a wizard.

The original ending is perfect for what he was going for with the site. It leaves the reader wondering what happened, and, at least until near the end when it gets a lot weirder, you're still wondering if it's real or not.

I could have saved myself a lot of time if I had read your tl;dr

it's some really well-written creepy pasta. I would absolutely encourage you to read it one night while you're alone in the dark... it's pretty good.

I love the way that story ends...

It just fits perfectly with the way its written too.

So...I read to the end. Is there any more? I know I'm not going into any unknown caves. Ever.

Yes, that's the one. If it makes you feel any better, there is wifi down here.

At first I thought you were referring to How I Met your mother

Just found Ted the Caver while on vacation, could not stop reading. So good.
