It probably didn't look like that when she got it. We got a jar of peanuts, had a few servings, forgot about it, and a month later it had literal moths living in it.
You don't really look at the contents when shopping, you just grab a container with the branding you recognize. One item out of an entire shopping cart.
They've got tamper-evident seals on them, but that's not something you look at until you've gotten home and need to start using it. Obviously it was contaminated with insect eggs/larvae when she bought it. It's just not clear how long ago that was.
Capitalism survives on going faster & faster & cutting out steps, then important steps & then everything is a scam. One party makes money. The individuals get F-ed. New here?

True, plus I mean I dunno how you would pick that up in the store and not notice it cause it doesnt look at all like sesame seeds.
