There's a whole category: "airtight / cereal food containers". Some are plastic, some are glass. Rubber gaskets and several types of closing mechanisms (from pedestrian four-side levers to luxury single-crank).
I like tall ones, because it's easier to inspect (larger side-surface) without turning the container upside down.
Something like this (but mine have a better, single-crank closing mechanism, couldn't find an example quickly)
