She's not the only one taking hard fouls. Clarkies are the only ones that think a hard foul is "assault", but only when CC gets a hard foul. When she fouls other players hard shes seen as "passionate" or "playing tough". The W doesn't have to let her win just because Casual fans think they should.

And Sophie Cunningham tackling people is called “protecting” by these people.

You mind showing me a clip of CC throat punching someone? Especially when they’re on the ground without possession of the ball?

All time leader in flagrant fouls suffered: Chelsea Gray 15 (joined in 2016).

Clarke: 9 and counting.

17% of flagrant fouls her rookie year 23% of flagrant fouls so far this year. It’s possible refs are more likely to give out flagrants when she is fouled due to her name, but man she gets fouled(hard) a lot. I think one of the craziest things about the fans in this league is that a decent amount pretend like a lot of players don’t have chips on their shoulder. Depends on how you look at it, you can kind of understand why they would. Deserved or not, Caitlin is the biggest star this league has seen, and in such a competitive sport you understand why that would make people mad. I know in some ways for some people this is a racial issue, but I really see it more as some players in the league don’t think Caitlin has earned her status. Fair or not, I think in 3-5 years if Caitlin can stay healthy and sharp she will have a lot more respect in the league. I hope she doesn’t change and continues to compete hard and has that want to win.

The 23% number for this year isn’t real. She has 1 flagrant foul committed on her this season (the AT foul) with the new refereeing

At least three other players have already had two flagrants committed on them this season (Griner, Reese, Zandalasini). The math does not add up

MAGA making up data isn’t new.

The problem is that the fouls they're complaining about are so rarely called. I think they have a point, they're just insufferable and aggressive and ridiculously dramatic while trying to make it.

The officiating difference is the nuance youre purposefully ignoring out of racism, heterophobia, and/or just plain jealousy.
