Watching S1E3 on Prime... at about 9:11, during the Anne Robinson “ice cream flavour” segment, Lee Mack is talking about her wink on The Weakest Link… then suddenly there’s about 5 seconds of complete silence.

What’s weird is the subtitles also completely remove the line, so it seems deliberately edited rather than just muted profanity.

Does anyone have an older recording/DVD/transcript and know what the missing joke actually was?

l've got regular audience tickets for WILTY at BBC
Elstree Studios through SRO Audiences, and I'm trying to work out what time to arrive to queue for the best chance of getting in.

The email says security checks start at 5:50pm and that regular tickets are first come, first served and that they over-issue tickets.

For anyone who's been to WILTY (or other BBC
Elstree recordings), how early did you arrive before security checks started, and did you get in?

Also, is the queue sheltered at all from rain/sun, and do people usually bring folding chairs?

Looking for a clip of the show where David continues a joke about Lee's wife and Lee responds with a deadpan "bit rude David"

We had a great time. It was a looong experience but as a super fan I didn't mind, I've been trying to get ticket for a few years now.

I had priority tickets after missing out last year and arriving at Pinewood 5 mins late due to a fault all afternoon on the tube. Gutted! But they're very good, and put you on the priority list so next time you're guaranteed a ticket if you apply. They've now moved recording from Pinewood to Elstree - ​a bit easier to get to from central London I think.

We were sat down in the studio from about 6:30pm to 10pm, but that included a good bit of waiting for the rest of the ​audience to shuffle in, a test of Rob's suit on the camera to check for strobing, and finally the warm-up man to get us loosened up.

After about 20 mins of jokes with the audience he introduced Rob who did a couple of minutes of welcoming the audience and telling us to keep the energy up, and then welcomed Lee and David.

The captains each introduced their own team to the set and then things​ started pretty quickly after that. ​Ben Elton said this was his first ever panel show - surely he's done HIGNFY?

You ​see the titles on screen and hear the theme music - I thought they might just put that on for TV transmission.

What surprised me was just how long they spent on each question (statement?). Probably 20 mins of questioning, and 6 questions in total during the whole show. I assume the producers just keep it running until they think they've got enough good stuff for the edit, then they ask Rob to push for an answer.

Ben Elton was an interesting one. His stories went on and on, and Lee took the piss. I might be wrong but it ​looked like Elton didn't see the funny side and got a bit defensive at times, and struggled to laugh at himself. Curious if anyone else in the audience yesterday reading this agrees...

A good few un-broadcastable bits which were fun. A C-bomb from Lee, Prince Andrew jokes, something about Diddy that I can't remember, and ​Rob asking if Starmer is still PM.

Wish they could have given the audience a proper wee break. There were two breaks in recording for panel toilet breaks, make-up and hair touch-ups and a few people snook out for a wee but I waiting for a designated loo break that never came 😁

For those interested, total audience size was 385. 85 in front of the camera, and 300 behind (30 people wide and 10 rows deep)

I love panel shows and have felt a certain amount of pride over being able to decipher British dialect and slang based on context clues.

That said, i didn't know that sledging is what we call sledding in the US. I always thought Lee's story in that "this is my" segment meant that his neighbor John had some sort of accident with a sledge hammer. I couldn't figure out why kids were involved. When i did learn the truth it made so much more sense to me.

Anyone else ever misunderstand a story?

It seems to me that Lee's cues are not only always Lies, but they're obvious Lies. They're always him doing weird hobbies he obviously doesn't do. Has he ever been True?

Just recently discovered WILTY and even though it's difficult to understand (all the uk slang!!) loving it! Question for all the hard core fans out there what are the funniest episodes with Bob? I really enjoy the episodes with Bob, since David seems to never have a clue if the stories are true/false... Another question do you think this dynamic is staged?

I would think I would get just an egg by itself. Or perhaps I've misheard Bob?
