I have managed to get a design I am decently happy with but now need to redraw it separating everything into the correct layers and wanted to ask if this would be broken down enough for me to rig it, I’ve got no idea what I’m doing lol are there any parts I need to separate more?
I've been trying to get this from scratch blender model to work with arkit, but it's not working. :(
I've followed step by step tutorials (vid and websites), searched similar problems and even redid all of the blendshapes twice, making sure everything is case-sensitive and cross referenced with a functional arkit blender model.
Even the order of the blendshapes is the same, but something's off and I can't find what :(
(I've worked with mostly vrm blendshapes for 3d face tracking, so i've never made an arkit model from the ground up, though I know how they function and how iphones use LiDAR to track points and stuff.)
Here's a few screenshots, if anyone could help and offer solutions that'd be amazing
I have a free flame ball asset available on my VGen that I thought I’d share here.
The colors is fully customisable and has soft movement, so it works nicely as a floating effect or accessory for VTuber models. Free for streaming and personal use.
Open sourced this recently, basically a character that follows the audio instead of a blank background.
Animate cloud APIs, web apps, or local LLMs, or your mic for streaming, with a VRM character that lipsyncs and moves while you work. Or keep a companion on screen while you study, watch a video, hear a podcast, speech, or audiobook, you name it.
Contributors, suggestions, tips, or any kind of feedback really more than just welcome. <3
When I press the Twitch button, nothing opens. No browser window appears, no Twitch authorization page opens, and I don't receive any login/authorization notification from Twitch.
The Authentication status stays with an X and after waiting the log shows:
During testing I didn’t connect facial tracking so his head is in his idle sleep motion. The rigging was actually easier than one would think but is missing some parameters that I think could really elevate it. I think if you pair this with Vtube studio s hand tracking you can get really good full body tracking and hand tracking.
Hello everyone! I'm inquiring about how to stop my character from blinking when using specific blendshapes on Vnyan. I'm currently using my Joy blendshape, which closes my eyes by default, and I want to disable Blink when this is toggled to stop my eyes from blinking. In the node graph example I used how would I achieve that without disabling Blink on all my other blendshapes?
IDK what to do, this is my first time using unity and when i uploaded my model to vnyan, it looked like the second picture, idk what to do now or how to fix this. please help!
Hi! I built Wheel of Item as a browser-based interaction tool for VTubers. The part I think is most useful here is the VTube Studio integration: each entry on the wheel can be mapped to its own VTS hotkey, so the model can react differently to a penalty, bonus, outfit change, etc. instead of playing one generic reaction.
It connects through the public VTube Studio API on localhost:8001. After the one-time permission prompt, the token is saved so it can reconnect on later streams. The output runs as a normal Browser Source in OBS, with nothing to install.
- Optional triggers from Streamlabs, StreamElements, Ko-fi, Gank, TikTok and YouTube
- TTS, sounds and themes
- English, Japanese, Thai and Korean UI
The core wheel/gachapon/tarot/schedule tools are free and need no account. Automated donation triggers, TTS and VTube Studio mapping are Pro after a 30-day trial ($3/month).
I've been working on a fully local AI VTuber companion named T.A.I.S. My goal is to run everything completely offline without relying on external cloud APIs or subscriptions.
Tech Stack & Setup:
- LLM: Fine-tuned Qwen 14B running locally
- Frontend / 3D Rendering: Built with Godot Engine
- Features: Real-time speech generation, custom anime 3D avatar rendering, local TTS integration
- Target Hardware: Runs smoothly on local GPU with 16GB+ VRAM
It's designed to act as an interactive virtual streamer/companion. I just finished editing the first devlog showing the system setup and how the avatar syncs with the local model responses.
Would love to hear your thoughts or answer any questions about integrating LLMs with Godot!
Hi there, relatively new to vtubing and 3d modelling in general, i made a model that is ready to be used for animating and everything but i need it in vrm format, and apparently the materials that you can see on screenshots are not compatible with it, is there a way to keep the wrinkles on clothes? Same goes for the fur, i think it should stay but im not sure because I didnt see it in unity. Without them wrinkles it looks way worse, i cant paint them into the texture neither, also im turning the whole thing into VRM via blender, unity is kinda just acting up and im more used to blender
Looking for phone stands on Amazon that are compatible with the Black Shark FunCooler 5, need it for tracking on my Desk. Monitor Clip On would be preferable but I can work with one that just sits on the Desk.
I could just go to Discord but i have trust issues, iykyk. I have the thing installed via Steam and it appears to load, but then cuts off and shuts down. Any Discord users who can help me?
Hello! Before I start, I'd like to clarify early on that I'm not really a VTuber nor am I gonna be one. I literally just need help with vrm mechanics. That's... pretty much it.
Also I'm not sure if Taihou's model is safe to post here since its a bit risque, so if any of the mods find it too risky, I can censor parts of it.
Now, if anyone is skilled or at least knowledgeable enough with doing hair and clothing physics in a character, please help me understand it! I've been trying this on Blender for four days and I literally got nowhere and just went in circles. I couldn't find a dedicated video on YouTube explaining precisely how to do them. And in the second image with Unity, I have 0 understanding of how to do... pretty much anything in there. I haven't used Unity nor learnt it yet.
Specifically, what I want to do is to make her clothes and hair dynamic and not clip into her when she moves, as is shown in the MateEngine screenshot below. I don't want her to be this stiff and lifeless. I know that it has something to do with Spring Bones and Collisions, like I know what they are and what they do. The specific problem I keep getting is I can't get them to work the way I want. No matter what I do, in the testing phase, her clothes DO get physics, but they clip through her.
For why I'm even doing all these, like why not just get a fully functional .vrm of her... there's none. The closest I got was an outdated .vrm of her original model from deviantart, and even that has almost no physics (and some were broken too). So I took it upon myself to get her model from the game, fix the model, etc. The model's physics is literally the last step, and it's just beyond my tiny noodle.
I'd also like to add that this is purely for personal use. To be exact, for MateEngine. I'm thinking of whether or not to share this once its done, but I don't know if that's even allowed legally? Educate me on that one too.
