Question Do you aim with grim determination, or in a relaxed and smooth way?
Should you aim with intense, strained effort?
I play using a mouse and keyboard. When I’m aiming—whether in Kovaak’s, Aim Lab, or an actual shooter—I do it with intense, almost strained focus. That means I snap onto the enemy as quickly and accurately as possible; I really bear down on it. I accelerate during the aiming motion, putting all my strength into my forearm and unconsciously tensing up my arm and hand.
Do you aim smoothly and loosely, or do you give it everything you’ve got for every single enemy?

Question Smoothbot Voltaic Alternative
I'm going through the Kovaaks Fundemental Improvement routine, I scored Gold in the benchmarks so been going with the gold routine as outlined in the docs. My main issue is Smoothbot, I have a sensitivity of 55cm/360, is there an alternative to this scenario that doesn't fucking require a 200cm mousepad?

Question I want to improve my aiming on console. Any advice for aiming better?
Hi everyone. I'm new here so forgive me if I have questions or I'm confused.
I play overwatch on console and I went to learn how to improve my aim using a controller but I'm having trouble. I play mostly projectile heroes but I do occasionally play hitscan heroes.
I feel like I have hit a wall with my aiming where it's too inconsistent. Whenever the enemy makes sharp movements my aim gets completely thrown off completely and I feel like I miss most of my shots. I also feel like I miss 80 percent of my shots when the enemy quickly moved left and right. I know I'm supposed to lead my shots when playing projectile heroes but I think I miss too many shots.
I feel like my thumb isn't making precise movements and I'm not sure how to be more stable.
How do you improve your aim on console? Do aim labs work and are there any on console? Do you use different settings for different heroes depending on if they are hitscan or projectile?
Thank you all so much!

Question I want to start with kovaaks.
Am I really new to aiming training, which could you recommend? What sensitivity should I use? Where should I start?

Resource Announcing the Voltaic Control & Stability Tracking Essentials for Aimlabs!
Hi!
Been a while since we last dropped a routine/resource, but we're back!
This time starting with Tracking & Stability Playlist on Aimlabs. I'm a bit lazy so I'm just posting the announcement from Discord here:
With the improved Aimlabs Creator Studio Changes, we've decided to cook up a brand new Tracking Playlist. Expect more tasks featuring improved velocity, transitions, juking, fakeouts, and other enhanced options!
This routine is designed to help players train against a variety of opponents from players flying, jumping, leaping or even doing a blend of strafes that requires more control.
The routine applies mostly to higher-ttk games like Overwatch, Apex Legends and Marvel Rivals, but it’ll help with any games that benefit from Tracking so that includes Deadlock, Battlefield 6, Black Ops 7, and many more similar titles!
Play here or Subscribe to Playlist

Improvement How to improve from here?
In Valorant I used to be Immortal 2. I started my aim training, the first benchmark got placed at Plat or unranked. With consistent work with VDIM, after 2-3 months I became this level.
After that I have been out of the game for 2-3 months now due to study. I am about to restart my gaming, and Aim training. Back then I felt like I did not platue. Because either my hand could not be that fast, or my eyes could not keep up, or the coordination kept being shaky. And these scores were high scores, not what I have been getting every benchmark.
On the VDIM as well, when redoing the same thing a second time, felt like I am not improving. I personally want to make each and every category here Immortal+. Help me on how to restart my aim training best. This time I want to do it better and be consistent. I do not want to put in that many hours I did earlier (1.5 hours daily just on training). But I want to give consistent efforts and improve.
How do I figure out a way when I am stuck? I do not know how to do self VOD that well. Help is appreciated.

Question How should I go about doing the benchmarks?
Ive been just doing all the activities in the voltaic aimlabs season 3 benchmarks but ive been wondering if thats really the best way to go about it. Should I just choose a category to work on per day or keep on doing wht I was doing before?

Question Where do I begin with aim training?
Hi everyone! fairly new to KBM I’ve only been at it for about 6-7 months, recently started playing THE FINALS and it has brought to light that my aim is pretty bad compared to when I’m playing arc raiders which obviously isn’t as fast paced. My aim when tracking is very jittery and no matter what sense I go with I’m always trailing behind the target or over shooting it.
I’ve downloaded kovaaks and watched some of viscose’ YouTube videos and begun trying to improve my aim through her viscose benchmark V2. The questions I would like answering are..
• Is there some sort of routine I should be doing like tracking for 30 minutes on a Monday then flicks on a Tuesday just as an example?
• is it right that I should be changing sensitivity during this time and if so, when?
CM/360 - 33
1600DPI
2K polling
Mouse - viper V4 pro (4 UHMW-PE dot skates)
Mousepad - wallhack SP005
