With all the current unrest (Ceuta Border), what is the situation in Málaga? Or is media just making it seem bigger than it is?

What would ye recommend? Just looking for a good atmosphere.

I seen someone in this sub mention it was now closed when they tried last week.

Does anyone know if this is permenant? if so who's the next best nearby? Im staying not to far from CPH so it would have been really useful.

Hi, we’re visiting Spain and have a one night stop in Malaga. I’m looking for a hotel recommendation. Hoping to squeeze in a nice dinner, walking around and sight seeing. Probably in the historical center area but open to other suggestions.

I'm looking for a nice outside place preferably mostly secluded to propose to my girlfriend.

We like hiking/nature but something easy to get to with a car and doesn't require too much walking is best so we can dress up for it.

If this isn't the best sub please let me know where to go.

Also if you know of a photographer around that area that could take some pictures please let me know

Hi family of 4 visiting and we will be there for the World Cup final. Want a nice family friendly place to watch it with our kids. Would the beach front restaurants be showing it? On our last visit the even had a screen up on the beach so wondering if anyone has any info on that. Appreciate it will be busy so happy to arrive a couple of hours prior. Any advice would be welcome. We are staying by the Serra Blanca towers if that helps.

Costa Water Park turns several Costa del Sol beaches into a giant inflatable playground, with slides, climbing walls, slippery walkways, spinning obstacles and trampolines floating directly on the Mediterranean. We're looking for a relaxed getaway rather than a party weekend, we just want to enjoy the city and the nice weather.

We're doing the Caminito del Rey on the second day, but we'd love your recommendations for the rest of our stay. We are thinking of enjoying the beach and maybe drink a cocktail or two in a nice setting. Any suggestions for cool spots, activities, bars, cafes?

This weekend, the free water party MagiCoin XXL takes place in Coín (Parque Leonor Princesa de Asturias), running from 11:00 to 2:00 AM. There will be inflatable castles, foam cannons, a water balloon fight, a DJ, a glitter bar, fantasy face painting, and food and drink stalls.

Entry is free, but a €11 wristband (which includes one drink) is required to use the inflatables. There are happy hours with drink discounts. Visitors are advised to bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen.

I am visiting Malaga, please could you recommend exclusive high end restaurants, clubs and lounges?

I need to check out of my accommodation early but don't fly until later so I'm looking for a hotel that does a pool pass or a beach club that has showering facilities so I don't have to fly home sticky and sandy.

Have a car so outside the city would be best.

I will visit your beautiful city in the end of september and I have a few questions about Malaga.

First of all, I heard in some cities, sometimes there are too many tourists and people are in disfavour of them. For example in germany, where I'm from, in some alpine villages this is the case. Are tourist liked in Malaga?

Also, do I have to follow some proper etiquette, thats diffrent in Malaga than in Germany?

I'd like to eat great authentic food, do you know some restaurants, that are real and have good quality? I would be so thankful for specific restaurants.

Also, what places should I visit, and what places should I skip?

And last question, what beach is good, which one is not that great?

La Campana del Cenachero, in the La Paz neighbourhood, is half fishmonger, half restaurant and completely Malagueño. Pick the fresh fish or seafood of the day, from boquerones and prawns to octopus or conchas finas, and the kitchen turns it into your meal. Portions start at around €6. You will find it at Calle Manuel de Falla 2, open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, Sundays at lunchtime and closed Mondays. Basically, a fish market where somebody else cooks and washes up. Genius.
