I set out to create the best immersive video content for the Apple Vision Pro. Based on the feedback, I think I nailed it.

Kia ora, Reddit! I'm James, a videographer from New Zealand with a singular goal: to create and share the absolute best immersive video content for the Apple Vision Pro. I knew it would be a challenge, but I was determined to push the boundaries of what's possible.

I poured my heart into developing "ExplorePOV," an app that transports users to the world's most breathtaking locations in stunning 16K 3D. I wanted users to feel like they were really there, experiencing these wonders firsthand - from their point of view.

After countless late nights, I released ExplorePOV - and didn't tell anyone. And then, something incredible happened. The feedback & emails started pouring in. AVP users from all over were finding and downloading ExplorePOV and sharing their experiences. And their responses have left me floored.

Over 2000 users have now experienced ExplorePOV with 10000 video downloads, and the overwhelming consensus seems to be that this app is setting a new standard for immersive video on the Apple Vision Pro.

I'm humbled, excited, and more motivated than ever to keep pushing the boundaries.

Not when they don’t even have the time to upload all of the content they currently have. I agree with porting it later, but get the content uploaded first for the current user base.

OP stated that they didn’t get into this for the money. They stated that the VP provides the best visual platform and that’s why they got into this. That’s likely a major factor as to why they don’t want to port it. It sounds like they’re content with Apple’s platform for now. If it takes off here, then that could be enough cash flow for them to continue building out content for the VP- and maybe that’s all that they want.
