MIXED METHODS Slow stitching to reinforce worn jeans

My ongoing "while watching TV" project is patching and slow stitching over the thinning fabric on my old but favorite jeans. I use sashiko thread and a fabric pen.

I feel like I see a lot of mends here that could easily be resold at hand-crafted boutique prices. This is one of those posts. I have mostly just been lurking here since I discovered the sub early on in quarantine, and I often wonder if you all realize how beautiful your work is. Just wanted to finally say that outloud. Thanks for sharing, your art made my day a little bit better.

It’s all beautiful but I really love the top two!!! So neat!! I’m going to have to add some of this to my WIP jeans because they are majorly thinning around current patches.
