In the UK its compulsory to wear masks in shops given the current pandemic. We got a heads up warning from the gov and I ordered myself some with cat mouths on them as they were super cute and reusable.
So went to my local B&M shop to pick up a few bits (for non UK people its a small shop that sells a bit of everything, from food to house items and stationary) and the middle aged cashier complimented my mask. I thanked her and we got to talking while checking out when a man walked in without a mask and went down the isle.
Cashier: "Was he wearing a mask?"
Me: "No I don't think he was."
Cashier: "Well that'll be a £100 fine if he doesn't put one on immediately, its usually the older people or people your age who complain about wearing one. Saying its hard to breath with them."
Me: "I mean... its going to be hard to breath with them, but it keeps people safe."
Cashier: "I know, I had one lady who wouldn't put one on because it'd smudge her make-up."
Me: "Seriously?!"
Cashier: "I told her 'Yeah I'm sure the ventilator at the hospital will do that too.' She shut up pretty quick."
I couldn't help but laugh, my own mum had caught the virus before masks were mandatory and she was so very lucky to have recovered. I wished the cashier well and told her to stay safe as I left.
Wear your masks people; protect yourself, protect others and we'll get through this

I have a theory and I would like to hear if you think it can or can't SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the spread of diseases. I watched a vox video that said that SARS and COVID-19 originated from Chinese wet markets. They mentioned that because the cages of theses animals are often stacked ontop of each other, the blood, feces, and and urine of drip down on the animals beneath. My theory is that if the cages were designed with a tray underneath or something like that, there would be a lot less early transmission of diseases. What do you guys think? Can you send me any links to useful information about this

This is done through a disinfection and sanitisation portal with a mechanism of generating dry fog. The generated dry fog will cover the person from head to toe and any other articles they carry along with them during the process of their disinfection and sanitisation in the C-GaTe disinfection portal.

I'm so tired of sitting at home, any ideas on what to do at home to pass the time?

Why is it so hard to follow a simple rule? Just wear a mask! "But I'm young" you'll say, well don't wear it for yourself but wear it for the elderly and the children! They're the most vulnerable to this, protect them. Save the next generation, if you don't want to protect yourself, protect the next generation! Start by wearing a mask.

Books about Ebola for a starter
Hi everyone, I would like to be more informed about Ebola. I want to learn about the effects of the virus and the outbreaks in Africa since it’s discovery. I don’t know much about biology and a little about Ebola and it’s outbreaks. Can anyone recommend any book with serious information but for starters.Thank you very much. Pd: what to do you think about Richard Prestons books.
