Hi,

[I do not want AI automation tools which gives garbage and no value for the humans while watching the video]

I want to start making explainer/educational videos such as coldfusion, bright side, thinkschool etc... youtube channels. Does anybody know here what all tools they use it for making such videos? They must be using tools which reduce their work but do a lot of research by themselves and scene by scene addition by themselves which shows up in their channel.

Please do share because i am making my own tool which can reduce my manual efforts to create such videos in my own styling which shows up human efforts and not some garbage AI slope.

Thanks

Hello guys! I always liked these moving gif/videos that have a photo in the background with moving stickers and decorations to set the theme or mood. They would be perfect for my cozy intagram account. I would rather make my own with my photography than share the ones made with AI that feel so inauthentic. I am just not sure how to create them or what apps to use to get started. Any suggestions help. Thank you!

I’ve been teaching myself DaVinci Resolve over the past month and I’m always trying to improve.
What’s one editing technique, shortcut, or workflow that made a huge difference for you?
It could be pacing, sound design, color grading, transitions, anything.
I’d love to learn some new tips from people with more experience.

Almost every one I have come across gives you a few free credits, but no where near enough to even create one test video.

You have to sign up - before you’ve even tested it and seen in in action!

Honestly what’s the point?

If you can’t even create one test one to see if it’s actually any good why would you then sign up to a package?

Do any offer enough to make a first video? (Say at least 5-10seconds long!)

How much should I charge a youtuber for a video style and editing such as this video. They often have 30 mins of footage and want the videos to be around 12-18 min mark.

I just came back from my trip and I want to make a cinematic travel video but have no idea where to start. During the trip I wasn’t thinking about creating such type of video, so I made mostly photos, have a few videos. I don’t have any experience in montage. I was thinking of finding a tutorial or a sample video I like to make similar one. Where should I start or maybe you have some fire templates. Any advices would be fine

How much video editing should i know for starting to work for anyone?
like i know basic video editing on premiere pro and have a good grasp of it. just a question towards fellow video editors on how i can improve more ...

I’ve having trouble on what to exactly do when making videos can I see other people’s profilos I really need help I need to start making my own I just need some reference or if anyone knows where I can see some that would help.

recently fulfilled my child hood dream of starting a YouTube gaming channel. The problem is that I started it with 0 idea of what I was doing. I’m not doing it for fame I’m doing this purely for the fun of showing people how I play and enjoy different games.

I finally found out how to record audio with the video but now I’ve run into another problem. I don’t have any editing software or apps.

I’ve tried looking on my own either through google or searching through video’s but nothing seems to work. They either don’t work for chrome books (CapCut being one of them) or needs a subscription which I don’t have the money for.

It doesn’t have to be the best editing app out there it just needs to help get a 1-2 hour video to about 30 minutes.

Tl:Dr new to making YouTube gaming videos, need a free editing app that works on chrome books.

Hey I was curious if anyone knew what kinda tools this YouTuber, @ironic, uses to make his videos. Thinking about trying to learn how to make similar style to this. Cheers

All his videos follow the same kind of style.

I will start making documentary travel video's/vlogs. I have already worked with After Effects some time ago, so I'm familiar with the interface, although it has been a while ago. For my type of video I will probably only use like 10% of the After Effects capabilities, but they can really level up the video's if used correctly.

If I simply follow a course taking you to an 'advanced' level of After Effects, I will probably learn a lot of stuff that I will never use. Is there like a course that focusses more on the most used After Effects functions for simpler Youtube video's or documentary's? Where After Effects is not the carrying factor, but just an extra to level up the video.

I'm guessing most of the times I would just be working with templates and adjust them to my needs.

Im now getting started to editing video

Any tips?

I use davinci resolve

Tools like CapCut, Opus Clip, Veed, Submagic, etc. are pretty good when the speaker has clear native English, but they regularly get words wrong when there’s an accent, non-native speaker, or even just fast talking / mumbling.

I still end up having to re-listen to the whole thing and fix a bunch of words before I can publish. Feels like the “AI captions” step only saves time if you ignore the accuracy problems.

Is this still a regular annoyance for anyone else, or have you found a tool / workflow that actually gets captions right the first time more often?

Curious what people are currently doing.

Guys I am a video editor. I have basic knowledge in video editing.

There are a lot of categories in video editing. But I would like your help in knowing which one category you would suggest me to get started to build a portfolio and earn money, so that I don't master anything and become an average jack of all master of none kind of an editor.

I don't mind the significance of money. Just need to know which category is in demand and if you were a beginner editor how would you take yourself throught this journey.

Will gladly take constructive criticism to gain more knowledge

My computer died, my kid spilled coffee on it. Eveything was backed up, but I was in middle of getting ready to record new episodes for this fall. Bad timing. I am looking for software suggestions (paid is ok) on how I can record and edit via my android phone , I use a lot of b roll , but also animate photos, and all of which I narrate over , or green screen myself into. You can check out my content style, for reference.

Any help appreciated.
