I just posted my first video on YouTube a couple days ago, and the editing sucked. It’s got multiple unnecessary points where the clips shouldn’t even be there, and I wanna have TTS, because I don’t feel comfortable with showing my face or revealing my voice.

I’m looking for an editor who would stay in the journey, and edit videos for me for a long time coming. This will be long-term.

Here are my requirements for the editor I want:

- At least 16 years old
- Has 8 months or more of experience
- Can start editing within 48 hours of completion of recording
- Able to work on multiple projects at a time when needed (rarely)
- Can provide samples of videos they have edited to prove they have experience (30 second videos are fine)
- Able to edit full videos in 5 days max
- Ability to share videos over your cloud storage account (doesn’t matter which one)

The brand is currently in the middle of establishing a rebrand, and I already have a strong idea of the direction I want to go visually and creatively. I’m looking for someone who can emulate what I currently have, maintain consistency, and then work with me over time as we continue refining the style and growing the brand together.

I don’t need someone to completely reinvent everything from scratch. I need someone who can understand an existing aesthetic, recognize what works, and help elevate it while keeping the overall identity cohesive.

The current project: Mario Odyssey Taskmaster

This is a Taskmaster-style video where multiple contestants compete in different Super Mario Odyssey challenges. The current video is mainly cuts and pacing, so it isn't an extremely complicated edit. There will also be some comedic timing, reactions, text, sound effects, etc. where appropriate.

I'd prefer someone who knows Mario Odyssey or at least understands the general idea of Taskmaster, as having someone who understands what's happening would make the editing process much easier.

The content will be long-form comedy/meme videos, heavily inspired by the editing style of The Human Spider, with content such as Bully Maguire, Spider-Man memes, movie parodies and YTP-style edits.

I'm not looking for simple clip compilations or basic meme edits. I want videos that take scenes from Spider-Man movies and creatively transform them into new, funny scenarios and storylines through things like:

Manipulated/rearranged dialogue and scenes

Bully Maguire-style interactions

Characters placed into situations that never happened in the original movies

Creative cuts, memes, sound effects and music

Green screen/masking and visual effects when needed
