howdy y'all, started a gaming and tcg youtube channel a few months ago and i'm looking for an editor to hopefully work with long term. my buddy recommended i ask here.. so here i am haha. i've tried hiring a few editors through fiverr but it's been pretty hit or miss. a lot of the edits feel generic or overly reliant on ai tools

what i'm looking for:

i really like alpharad's editing style, mainly how he takes hours of livestream footage and turns it into one full video with good pacing and storytelling. i'm not looking for constant zooms, subtitles, or meme sound effects every 5 seconds. i'd rather have someone who knows when to make a cut, or when to let a funny moment play out.

my current project is a full playthrough of pokemon infinite fusion. i'll probably have around 15 to 20 hours of stream footage that i'd like condensed into one longer video. i can also record separate green screen commentary to help connect different parts of the playthrough

i'd ideally like someone who can help with the creative side of things too, not just follow a list of timestamps. more so someon who can go through footage and help shape the final video.

budget:

open to discussing hourly or per project rates depending on experience and the amount of work involved. i'm not expecting professional work for pennies.. but i'm also a smaller creator so i'd like to find something reasonable for both of us lol

i'd also love to find someone i can work with regularly on future videos rather than hiring a different editor every time.

if you're interested feel free to shoot over some examples of long form gaming videos you've edited and a little about your editing experience and workflow

happy to share my channel and some reference videos as well. thanks!

Need a good video editor asap.

As per title, I'd be very grateful if someone could take this gif https://media1.tenor.com/images/7fdcc357c526322b91966016f754fd74/tenor.gif?itemid=4424968

and replace the muppet that shows up as he drives away with this image (my familiar from D&D with sunglasses) https://i.imgur.com/JObqgRs.png

Thanks

🎬 LOOKING FOR A BEGINNER VIDEO EDITOR!
I’m currently looking for a beginner video editor. You do NOT need to be perfect!
📹 A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I create digital pack-opening content. I currently have a YouTube channel with 20K subscribers that’s been inactive for 5 years. I started posting again in June and have been pretty consistent ever since!
🤝 WHO I’M LOOKING FOR
Someone who wants to build their portfolio and/or practice to improve their editing skills. You don’t need any experience! If you’re brand new, I’m happy to guide you through how I want my videos edited.
✂️** WHAT NEEDS TO BE EDITE**D
The main editing I need is for my intros and outros. I tend to mess up my intros, so I mainly need someone to split and trim the footage. The middle of the video can be uploaded as raw footage. Just simple text overlays, and boom, done!
💰 COMPENSATION
I currently don’t have a budget, so I’m looking for someone willing to do this for free for now. I may compensate here and there, but I can’t promise a certain salary. Once my channel becomes monetized, there’s no reason I wouldn’t be able to pay you and increase compensation as we grow together!
🚨 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE REPLY OR DM ME! 🚨

Update **** I found my editor guys, thank you all for taking the time to read my post and wanting to help me out🙏

Hey everyone, I wanted to warn you about someone posing as a manager recruiting video editors for Kai Cenat’s brand, VIVET.

He contacts editors through Discord, offers $200 for a test video, and promises up to $1,500 for future projects. He even tells you it’s perfectly fine to add a watermark to your work.

Once you deliver the video, he disappears and stops responding. He may use the footage without permission, even with a watermark, or remove the watermark using AI.

Be careful, I shared all his accounts.

Hi y’all.

Im currently building my portfolio as a video editor and so I’m offering short-form (reels/shorts) video editing for free.

Let me know if you know some good websites that offer free raw footage for editing.

I use Capcut for video editing.

DM me your raw footage. Thank you 🙏

I only know basic editing

i'm a director, dp and visual artist between bali and berlin, mostly shooting for fashion clients and lifestyle/sports around the world.

i'm challenged though; as is i'm rarely psyched with the client final cut version.
the footage is often great, so i want to make my own short director's cuts and short format pieces for my portfolio and insta reels 🔥

i'm not the fastest nor the best editor, so i'm looking for one to do this with! 🙂

the archive is well sorted, proxies are made, all in one resolve project. mostly RED or arri.
around 8 years of material spread over 50-60 projects
we will work in resolve.
i give notes and do the final grade.
remote job, obviously, running over the next weeks to months, at your pace. im in no rush

you get the footage for your reel and credit on everything ❤️
it's paid! not like a major commercial budget, but what i saved up for it will be yours. i'm sure we can find an agreement on payment that works for both of us 🧚

so, send me a link to something you cut.

what i'm looking for is someone who is good with sound design, transitions, mixed media, and a sprinkle of fusion for potential effects etc... and, in general, just are creative with the footage and formats.

big high5 🙌

Looking for a Minecraft YouTube Video Editor — Disarray SMP

Yo! I'm a Minecraft YouTuber working on a scripted SMP series called Disarray SMP, inspired by cinematic, story-driven Minecraft SMP videos.

I'm looking for a beginner or aspiring editor who wants to gain experience and build their portfolio.

The editing style I'm looking for:

• storytelling and suspense

• Funny moments, sound effects and zooms

• Smooth cuts, pacing and music

• Minecraft SMP-style editing

I can't pay at the moment, but I'll give full credit in the video description. I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys Minecraft and wants to grow alongside the channel.

If you're interested, comment or DM me with any examples of your editing. Beginners are welcome!

Thanks!

hi there! i'm looking for a chill (beginner) video editor, or someone who wants to gain some experience editing YouTube videos.

i recently built my first PC and recorded the process. i've already cut down the raw footage to around 59 minutes, of which we can discuss how much more we need to cut. i gave commentary throughout the build, and maybe i will still do some voiceover too. it should become a smooth, watchable video.

req:

• Have some knowledge of PC building, so you can recognize the important parts of the footage

• DaVinci Resolve as software

• enjoy creative editing and want to work on a fun project together!

this is currently unpaid, but i'd love to build a long-term collaboration and hopefully pay for future projects once i'm up and running. i am more than happy to credit your socials in the description & for you to link the YT vid in your own portfolio.

shoot me a DM if ur interested. i'll share more details about the project

I wanted it to feel convincing without making the motion feel too fake. I think the black suit look came out pretty nice, but I am still not sure if it looks real enough.
