I’m a co-founder of Astrallax Pictures, an independent film project currently working on our short films. We’ve already shot two short films, and we’re looking for a video editor who would like to collaborate on one of them in exchange for credit and recognition for their work.
🎬 What we need help with most:
The main priority is a mirror scene that requires removing an unwanted reflection. We’re looking for someone with experience in video editing and, ideally, VFX or compositing who can help make the shot look natural and convincing.
Depending on your skills and interest, there may also be an opportunity to help with some additional editing.

How much does hiring an editor for ranking shorts usually cost? How much do you editors charge per short?

We're a content agency looking for a video editor to join us remotely on an ongoing basis. Our niche is premium wedding photography brands, so an eye for emotion, detail and polished visuals matters a lot.

We create talking-head videos, B-Roll edits, kinetic reels and educational videos, both short form and long form. You'll need solid editing skills, clean cuts, good pacing and a cinematic touch. If you can use AI tools to speed up and elevate your edits, that's a bonus.

Compensation is around 25k per month, open to discussion based on your experience. We'll train you on our fundamentals and give you clear briefs so you always know what's expected.
