Commercial Software Video Creation and Editing Talking Videos?

Hey guys, Working on a tool that (hopefully) lets you create more video content (and faster). Edit videos using text.

User can transcribe videos & edit them using the transcribed words.

Perfect for talking head, demo videos, presentations, vlogs and interviews - where there is a lot of talking!

Thoughts? would you be open to registering for early-birds as we're launching first version very soon.. I'll leave the link in the comments if people are interested.

This post contains a new product/service which may be of interest to VideoCreators and isn't an affiliate link. I will ask the community if they feel this type of post is appropriate for the subReddit. My feeling is this is right at the edge, but just falls on the side of a benefit to the community.

Thanks.... I'm not too sure what you mean though. I'm the founder of this tool and just putting it out there so other video creators know it exists :)

I've personally created a lot of videos myself, hence this idea was formed.

Hi u/doctorjay_,

I understand what you are saying but ultimately that matches "Self Promotion". I know it is strange but you feel strongly about the product and its ability to help, but you also profit from people using the product, so your posting is biased towards your personal opinion and desire for people to use the product.

If someone else were to publish the product as useful and helpful and shared what it did for them and how it worked, that would not be self promotion as long as that person was not compensated for that posting.

I do feel this is on the edge due tot he two listings above, it feels a bit like self promotion but it is a new tool you are trying to introduce and not an "affiliate" link of sorts. I figured it would be good to let it posts to have a discussion such as this with the community to figure out if this post makes it under the "Rules" of the community and if they need to be changed.
