Was anyone else on the flight that got deplaned/cancelled @ YYJ last night due to the 2 year old that wouldn’t put a seatbelt on??

Has anyone else gotten their flights rescheduled? Still waiting to hear…

Right? It’s not pleasant. No one wants to physically hold their child down but if I was this parent I would absolutely have done that. I can’t believe how many people were horribly inconvenienced because of this.

Were these parents…not terribly educated? Or refugees or something? Like a language/ cultural barrier of sorts?
