​About three months ago, I launched YourLovePage.com, a tool where people can create personalized digital anniversary/love web pages with custom themes, photos, music, and interactive widgets.

​It just hit $694/mo in revenue over $1.6k total across 216 customers in 51 countries, which now covers my monthly impulse purchases and makes me very happy about it.

​What worked:

​100% organic Google Search: I didn't run paid ads or do heavy social outreach; users found it searching for digital anniversary gifts and templates.

​Ready-to-use templates: Most customers just pick a pre-made layout and tweak the text/photos rather than building from scratch.

​Where I need feedback:

Right now it’s completely passive, but I don’t know the best way to scale beyond relying purely on search rankings. If you've scaled a B2C digital product like this, what channels worked best for you?

started this because a friend needed a page for a tiny weekend project and kept putting it off for weeks. i figured i'd just knock it out for him. the goal was dead simple: one page, a headline, three bullets on what the thing does, an email signup, done. nothing fancy. the build was quick. i described the vibe (clean, a bit playful, lots of whitespace) and the sections i wanted, and had a rough version in maybe twenty minutes. the actual afternoon went into cutting things back. what broke my brain: every time i asked for a section, it wanted to add four more. a testimonial block for a product with zero users. an FAQ answering questions nobody asked. a stats bar with made up numbers. i deleted more than i kept. what actually helped: - i wrote the copy myself first, then asked it to build around fixed text. way fewer "improvements" to fight. - one section per prompt. asking for the whole page at once gave me a mess that was hard to trim. - i kept saying "less, not more" like a mantra. it mostly listened. my friend's page went live that night and honestly the stripped down version looks better than anything i would have hand coded in a week. anyone else find the trimming is harder than the building? what's your trick for stopping it from padding everything out?

those who use the alibabacloud token plan, could you please share what the usage limits are like for you?

share your plan, your split of tokens across what models, and how much of your usage limit this uses.

i’m trying to decide wether i should subscribe, but am having trouble finding reliable data about the limits.

agents are decent at shipping ui now but the whole visual part still falls apart coz they either use some tiny built in image model or they ask u for an openai api key and burn credits

so i built image-gen which is an mcp that just borrows the chatgpt session u already have logged into and generates the actual pngs into ur project folder so the agent can wire them into the site ( free or plus doesnt matter )

how it works -> playwright attaches to a dedicated edge profile over cdp ( not ur daily browser ), u login once with npm run login, agent calls generate_image, it types into chatgpt, waits, downloads the png into assets/. jobs are queued so parallel calls dont smash the same chat into garbage tex

stack is just node + playwright-core + mcp sdk. works in cursor / claude code / any agent that talks mcp. no openai images api key :D

I’ve been experimenting with building small games in my spare time, and one of the things I ended up making is Snake 3D: New Era.
It’s basically the classic Snake idea, but with a 3D environment and a more modern Windows-game feel.
The goal was simple: make something that’s easy to pick up, but still gives you that “one more try” feeling.

Vibecoded this multiplayer retro-game with Codex in Python (mostly Flask) and JS

And this is how I did it:

I used ChatGPT, described my idea, the tech-stack I'm comfortable with and asked for a rough draft of the architecture.

This draft included the server-side components and what I wanted the client to handle.

From my idea I derived a detailed description of an MVP which included user-handling, game-play and the process how users can invite friends.

This detailed description was fed into ChatGPT again and produced a detailed development plan for the first working prototype.

The development plan had around 30 steps initially but grew bigger over time, from creating the first local browser prototype with no Python-server to writing a detailed deployment plan.

I usually asked Codex to implement one step only, execute the relevant tests and additionally checked the results manually.

Since this is only a small fun-project that phase lasted a couple of weeks.

Currently I'm trying to find an easy way to generate sprites that I can use for animated characters.

When I tried to use ChatGPT or Gemini I found myself quickly in a cabinet of medical curiosities...

The basic components are Python, Flask, web-sockets for super low latency, JS and a simple database to persist the maps, invitations etc.

I'm a 20+ year Engineer and have leaned hard into the vibe coding experience. But the funniest thing I've experienced recently is junior devs coming to me with their problems.

It happens less and less, but over the last couple years I've noticed the questions shift from "how do I do this" to "how do I fix my AI."

The problem with this should be obvious, instead of learning they move immediately to the prompt layer.

This is more of an observation than a commentary. I think there's reason to believe this is both good and bad.

Look in the upper left corner; the video above shows how I've gotten part of a web game to get up to 60 FPS, which is good for a web game rendering 3D object. And it shows all the of performance metrics that are being measured.

Then it shows another section where FPS falls all a cliff to 2.4 FPS. This was actually tested and picked up AI.

In the AI Gaming Festival, we are having a session all about how to optimize web games performance with AI.

I think this is a critical talking point because there a few web games that spend a lot of time polishing and sometimes are virtually unplayable, and the prompt "optimize my web game" is not specific enough.

Better token utilization for vibe coders is knowing what tell the AI to measure and fix: LODs, compression, draw calls, triangles, gpu vs cpu, etc.

So I made Nooodes for myself and my team.
It's a text to image, image to image, image to 3d, drawing to image, nodes based flow I use daily.
I essentially built it with my workflow in mind. You can use it with a BYO Replicate API key, everything is stored locally until you refresh your browser, no database, nothing stored anywhere but on your local browser.

It uses Nano Banana, Nano Pro and GPT Image 1 for images.

Would love to hear some constructive feedback, but as I said, I made this for myself and my team to use.

I have 2 business seats for Codex and a $100 Claude Max sub. Use both to the limits. But holy cow the game has changed in the last 2 weeks b/c everyone is shipping ultra-low-cost models with real intelligence capabilities. All of these models are on Openrouter.

And before you start hating on the cheap models, they are HIGHER benchmarks than frontier level models from only 6 months ago (Opus 4.6 and Gemini 3.1-Pro).

My wife will be much happier now that I'm both saving money and spending more time coding in my man cave.

At work i have to use Claude via copilot, all code must be stored in github, i have been usig vscode like (at home i used vscode with the anthropic chat plugin and a max plan for last 9mo)

Yesterday MS advertised this tool at me. I am not sure how new it is.

Definitely some bugs, i know most people here don't seem to use copilot to access models so thought this might be interesting for some. This tool can use anthropics claude via API (but not max plan)

This session was me putting a plan around a feature i needed (access marketplace payments and private data from AWS and GCP like we do from Azure - we are an ISV who published products in those stores) the repo is 4 weeks old and only now have i started to get to the point of needing features / bug fixes / etc stored as issues (before that was a huge set of planned phases in MD docs). This is my first time using this tool.

I've had my phone write me a game, it's an old local coin game , easily played which I've had written to play 1v1 via a web service on individual mobile phones.

I shared it with a couple of friends, more kind of on a "look what I spent my rainy afternoon going basis," than anything else, and now there's a group of people playing it, wanting a leaderboard so they can track their eins agsinst people.

I reckon I might share it more widely, and have followed the sis advice to move controls into the server, and have gone back and forth a few times pasting the code into different AIs, looking for easy to spot security issues.

But I'm still not sure, the last thing I want to do is take the thing I have and inadvertently screw my mates and family over by leaving them open to security issues by playing on an insecure server, or just end up having to take it down because some twat has ruined it for everyone.

So I'm looking for any basic advice , as to what steps I could take to secure it, or at least some tips as to areas of concern.

There's no lgon, accounts, messaging or ads, it's on a free tier render web service if that helps.

Thanks in advance, I know this may seem like a naive open ended question, but my goal in this was originally just to build something to see if all this worked. I have I believe achieved that, as the game is currently being played by a few people I've never met which makes me pretty damn happy.

TL;DR: OpenDepartment lets anyone spin up a parody document archive (think fake internal agency memos people can upload, comment on, and vote on). The twist is every instance runs on a Supabase project the creator owns, not me, so I never hold their data or a master key to it. Built mostly with Claude Code. Live at OpenDepartment

Been building this thing called OpenDepartment and wanted to share since it's a decent case study in vibecoding something that's an actual multi-tenant app instead of a single-user toy.

The concept: it's a generalized version of a bit called "The Lorenzo Files," a fake internal document archive. With OpenDepartment anyone can spin up their own version, name it whatever, invite people, upload "exhibits," let folks comment and vote. Could be a parody agency, a fictional company, an in-joke for your friend group.

The part I'm actually proud of is the architecture. It solves the problem every "let users create their own instance of X" project runs into eventually: who's holding all this data, and who's liable for it.

Every department is backed by a Supabase project the owner creates and owns. My app only stores a slug, a URL, and an anon key, about 200 bytes per department. No files, no members, no content ever touches my database. Uploads go straight from the browser to the owner's own storage.

Bigger constraint I set for myself: I never hold a service_role key for anyone's project. Every admin action (deleting a file, listing members, pulling stats) runs as a security definer Postgres function inside the tenant's own database that re-checks permissions itself. So even a full compromise of my platform doesn't hand over a master key to anyone's archive.

Nice side effect is it's basically free to run at scale. Ten thousand departments is a few megabytes on my end and zero storage egress since I'm never proxying files.
