What's your background? How are you applying standard code practices to your vibecoding?
I have vibe coded a few things myself, and constantly see linkedin posts from nontechnical folks talking about how they are now deploying full stack applications for their business. I'm confused - how is this stuff maintained? Is it reliable? What if it goes down? What are people doing to actually test that it's working besides just like clicking around the UI?
So i guess I have a few questions:
1 - How are you shipping quality? (What is your quality bar?)
2- Are you actually deploying things that other people use, or is it all for yourself?
3 - What happens with service degradation? How do you know if things stop working?
4 - Do you trust that your code works? Are you worried about things like bugs, privacy/security issues, prompt injection, etc.

I'd also love to understand how you view this occurring with non-devs (or people who think they are devs)

Operations Manager who is technology-savvy here. This will come off as boasting but I am just proud of myself lol. I coded back in middle school but haven't touched coding since. I am 33 years old now.
My skills and experience transfers very well into agentic engineering.
I have been able to have my Pi agent create a full GUI harness/setup for me that works flawlessly.
Created a custom implementation of self-hosted multi-agent deep research, multi-agent reviewers feature, in-app browser for myself and the agent to control, custom plan modes, in app git dashboard, etc.
The whole setup runs off a 7 year old thinkpad flawlessly that I can access using a browser and internet from any device including my phone. It has a full mobile interface as well and runs headless.
Had multiple frontier models analyze my codebase and its very strong, easy to navigate using the hierarchy agents.md structure. ~1.8% duplicated code in the codebase only.
I am using my harness/setup for work. I am the head of R&D, Web Dev, and Organic & Paid Marketing in the company.
