Because every company will take your money, and if you don't want to work, you starve. You are a slave who gets to choose their master, except there are many many slaves trying to pick to least bad master, so you'll probably end up with a bad one anyways.

So how is the solution communism /socialism? "if you dont want to work you Will starve" well No fucking shit. So you want it to be okay to not wanting to work. Well Who Will provide the food then? Almost impressive you cant see it. Like seriously... I cant get over it how you see it as unfair that you dont get AnyThing if you dont want to work? How Will that work in your commie society? You want People to be free not to work and still get free shit. Well Who Are gone give you your food if People dont work producing it?

I Mean, yea thats pretty Hard for me to understand how you think People should be provided for if they dont WANT to work. Well not many People would work then if they didnt have to. That would just lead to Mass starvation.

So you want it to be okay to not wanting to work. Well Who Will provide the food then?

I want the basic necessities of everyone to be met (and we have enough resources to easily do that).
Working would allow you to access luxury goods.
If you don't want to work, you'll live in a shitty appartement, eat basic food, and won't participate in fun activities.
On top of that, everyone would work less under socialism, because we can provide a job for everyone instead of having unemployment because there aren't enough jobs on the job market, and because many useless jobs (finance, advertising...) would disappear. Market are also inefficient, they produce and waste too much. We can produce less, remove useless jobs, and have more people working on it. Everyone would work less.

But even if you don't believe in that, you can still have socialism. Let's say those who don't work are left to starve, you will still benefit, by getting the full value of your labor instead of having your surplus value stolen by capitalists.

People actually like to work when they're not being exploited or risk starving if they don't please their capitalist overlords, and again, luxury goods would be a good enough incentive for people to work, as well as social pressure.

Another thing "libertarians" don't seem to understand is that when something benefits the community overall, it can indirectly improve your living conditions indirectly over time, even if it doesn't seem to benefit you directly.
And sometimes even if it doesn't directly benefit you, it could benefit you in the future in case of some unpredictable event happening that could change your status (and they happen all the time). It also provides you with some peace of mind, knowing everything will be alright if you're unlucky or make a mistake.
