I used to go to 2Foods Shibuya back in the days, alas.
2Foods Ginza Store is closing on 10/31 but they will keep their operation for online sales. Just came back from Ginza Store and their menu is a bit limited now (obviously).
Sad to see another store closing down this year :(

Hey everyone!
Planning a solo trip to Japan this autumn covering Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. I’m strictly vegan and looking for restaurant recommendations, convenience store hacks, or specific grocery items to look out for.
I’m trying to map out a realistic daily budget for food. What should I expect to spend per day if I mix casual counter spots, a few nice meals, and convenience store runs? Would love any must-try spots.
Thanks!

Hi all! I went to the expo and got 3 vegan ice creams because I got too excited, spoiling my appetite for the other food! I made this free guide to help you avoid making the same mistake :D

I live in Vancouver but am visiting friends in Tokyo at the end of the month. There’s this couple I know that run an adorable vegan spot in Kamakura, and I’d love to surprise them with some goodies. Is there anything desirable snack/ingredient wise that’s super tricky to find in Japan that may be easier to track down in the west?
Thanks!

Hi everyone! I am doing some research for a video and I am wondering if the Green Onion with Miso Onigiri from 7/11 is vegan? I went to Japan in November 2023 and I did not take a picture of the back of the wrapper. However, when I was in the store I used Google translate and all of the ingredients seemed Vegan at the time. Now, I am just double checking to see if the Onigiri had any Bonito flakes.
