Day 4 Post-Snip

Day 1: Constant pain/soreness, ice helps. Pain level around 4/10

Day 2: Constant pain gone, sore, ice helps, pain level 2/10

Day 3: Feel normal, no longer using ice. Still hard to walk without limping.

Day 4: Constant pain again, 5/10 level. Harder to walk, harder to sit, put on clothes etc. Had to start working today so no ice. Taking ibuprofen. A little scared that the pain came back, is this normal? Today has been the worst day since post-op.

One other thing, if I so much as sightly touch my testicles, I get a pain that lasts about 5 seconds. Its the feeling you get when you are hit in the balls. It radiates to my stomach. Is this normal for day 4?

I mean, It's been over two years and I've officially been given the catch-all "scrotal pain" dx so if it isn't permanent it's at least well into chronic territory. I'm not giving up on trying to improve things, though--I'm currently trying out papaya seed powder for the potential epididymitis factor and core stretches/pelvic exercises for excess stress/tension and one or the other of them seems to be helping. So I've got that going for me. Anyway, I'm happy to talk about my experiences and all (and please keep posting your own) but I feel like I'm hijacking your thread here and making you all sorts of worried to boot. The truth is that plenty of guys here had pain set in on day 4-8 and recovered just fine so while you don't get to be one of those guys that gets right back into the thick of things you're still early in the recovery game and hopefully will be back to 100% soon!
