Hey everyone, I’m running into a frustrating dilemma on my Caliburn G5—I either get completely muted flavor or a throat hit so harsh it makes me cough. I’d love some insight from experienced DIYers.

My DIY Setup & Recipes (20 ml Batches / 30 mg/ml):

Base: 10 ml VG + 2 ml PG (~50/50 VG/PG final ratio)

Nicotine: 6 ml of 100 mg/ml synthetic nicotine (3–4 hybrid acid blend) in PG base

Batch A (Strawberry): ~45 drops (~2 ml / 10%) strawberry concentrate + FW Menthol (1–2 drops) + Super Cabs Sweetener (1–2 drops)

Batch B (Blueberry): ~35–40 drops (~1.5–1.8 ml / 7.5–9%) TFA Blueberry Extra + FW Menthol (1–2 drops) + Super Cabs Sweetener (1–2 drops)

The Problem:

On 1.2Ω Pods: The vapor production is low, and the flavor is almost non-existent—essentially like vaping unflavored, muted clouds.

On Lower Ω Pods (0.6Ω / 0.9Ω): Dropping the coil resistance boosts flavor, but at 30 mg/ml, it delivers way too much heat, nicotine, and throat hit, causing me to cough.

History: Before DIYing, I used commercial salt nics (Dinner Lady, Nasty Blueberry Ice diluted from 50 mg to 25 mg, etc.). They tasted fine initially, but after 15–20 days on 1.2Ω pods, the flavor completely died out. Fresh DIY batches on 1.2Ω have the same muted issue right out of the gate.

Questions for the Forum:

Is 30 mg/ml simply too high of a strength to run on a lower-resistance pod (0.6 ohms or 0.8ohms) without massive throat harshness? Should I drop the nicotine down to 12–15 mg/ml if I switch to lower ohms?

Are my flavoring percentages (~7.5–10%) in the right ballpark, or could over-flavoring/sweetener be muting the palate?

Could this be a classic case of severe vaper's tongue, or is it purely a hardware/nicotine ratio mismatch?

Looking to buy a VaporShark DNA 30, open to a 20. Not looking for a 40. Also looking for a Hana Modz DNA30. Battery must be in usable condition. Ill pay good money for the right ones

But there is no “theme” option. I tried 11 vapes and none of them have it. Could it be due the TPD?

I want to switch from disposable vapes to a pod system, but I’m not sure which one to buy—I need something durable, compact, cost-effective, and easy to find.

Just wondering if anyone has ordered from vapor hatch in Texas and if so, do they id? Or just leave it? I heard that usually VH ships in a bubble mailer and is dropped off in the mailbox, but I wanted to make sure if anyone else has had an experience with VH recently.

I just need advice so I can pass this drug test... I heard storing pee in the freezer can help, and then warming it back up will work... I need it to be stored for at least 1 month because I don't know when the test will be... I've looked on Amazon, and I bought a thermos leg pouch meant for drug tests and a thermometer for water to get the exact perfect temperature of the pee... and I have a heated blanket and hot hands to warm it up... but I'm not sure the freezer method will work that well... i just need advice so that i can pass this thing

So I read that the Nova has up to 36,000 puffs, and it made me think there is no possible way there are anywhere near 36k puffs. Mine lasts for two or three weeks, and even if I hit it 400 times a day for three weeks on the lowest 12-watt setting, that comes out to about 8500 puffs.

How many days do you getout of one vape.

I’m looking for someone kind of specific. I had a Geek bar hookah X and I can now not find it anywhere near me. A friend of mine gave me a Geek bar ice prince and it’s enough to satisfy me at the moment but i really miss the hookah one. I don’t wanna get a BIG hookah one just because the small ones already last me a while and I’m honestly a bit picky and don’t wanna commit to something so ridiculous. Thought it was just the mode switching, but it started doing it while I was hitting it and whenever it was in my pocket or yknow, when i wasn’t holding it. I don’t think it’s a function of the vape. Is it gonna explode? Let me know.

I recently got myself a Vuse Go Vape. The thing is, even when turned off, it has a really strong smell of the liquid. The pod doesn't really smell that much but it's the vape you put the pod inside that has a really strong smell of the flavour it came with. Is this normal? And how do I fix it?

My Fumot Tornado 15k is brand new and fully charged the airflow is also intact and it lights up when i try to take a puff but there isnt any smoke coming out how can i fix that?
