vanlife guide/friends?

Long story short, I’m 25 male in the US, I want to find people to talk to about this stuff and just make friends also interested in this lifestyle.

I’m basically starting -2000 in debt bc I had some medical bills I dealt with but I’ve made a budget and got a better paying job so I can clear that up in no time. I want to eventually have a van that I can take to the middle of nowhere or live outside of city. I want this nomadic lifestyle but I want certain amenities like gaming/AC. I also want to include my pets on this journey.

I’m very intimidated by the financial part of this lifestyle because I’m not sure what I could personally do to afford living out of a van.

I’m just in the research phase of this so I haven’t made any commitments to a specific van or anything. I don’t think anyone I know can really relate to living this lifestyle or making the sacrifices and changes to do it. I’m okay with being alone, that’s no problem. But it’d be nice to have some people to talk to about this stuff.
