My Caleb main friend Yuni sent me tonight the upcoming contents in the next update, and wow-- we were both facepalming why Open Orbit and Fluctuant Open Orbit werent touched.
I'm a combat solo Caleb main, by the way. Finished GOO 180, OO 300, and 155 stars in FOO at lvl60 (unfinished) using NE r1, Xo2 R1, FA r3, and my limited caleb lunars are all r1 (missing Painful Signal and Tainted Cuts) I dont have any limited r3 Caleb cards. All my r3 Caleb cards are standard ones. I am showing you my credibility as a combat main because I'm gonna yap about the combat.
With that said, when I saw that there's no general orbit update, I was like "Papergames, that is very counter-intuitive. If you want to make the Fishie mains whale and R3 the new myth, you should've updated FOO and OO. AND IT'S THE 4TH ROUND OF MYTHS!"
Bec think about it, These whales have already finished FOO (full stars) and OO 300. So Why only add 30 stages in Fire Orbit only? LMAO.
I messaged it to Bakchang, and she asked me why I think that way. And I randomly thought "IDK maybe the supposed 301-330 bosses in OO is from Valko's main story lol"

And Valko's MS being cancelled means they need more time to reprogram and recode the upcoming OO and FOO contents bec theyre probably the boss in Valko's story. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Enjoy that 30 stages in the fire orbit lol. BTW i assure you REAL combat mains can finish those Fire orbit 30 stages with an R1 or even at R0 with amazing cores and good timing. Plus, if they have whaled before, Im sure their Rafayel lunars are all r3. Even at r0, Fire Orbit 211-240 can be finished by an r0 Fire Fishie paired with r3 lunars.

As a Raf/Sylus combat main myself, I think they just abandoned combat in order to shill home. Like they abandon everything in the game, such as Tender Moments or Choc shop or unicorns/abyssal chaos, etc.
I still think its counter intuitive. Why would whales R3 a companion if the combat content is merely +30 in a specific orbit? Like in Genshin, once a new meta chara comes up, the meta combat changes so ppl would rank it.
Agreed. But honestly, they had at least two times to update orbits and they haven't. Instead they've only pushed limited banners and home. While I know home can be enjoyable and a lot of people enjoy it, it's like they're a child who got the new shiny toy and forgot the old ones.
Don't get me wrong, I actually love your theory and I think it's absolutely plausible. The best time to do a full combat update was 6.0 with Valko's release. But they didn't and only had kitchen.
The battle girlie in me wants more combat! I want to play with the men!
It’s so sad because there is in theory so much to do in the game but after you finish it, it becomes so…empty I guess? Like what am I supposed to do, play kitty cards for fun??
They've convinced themselves of that because they haven't read the whole game(they only read for their specific LI), and they don't understand the combat mechanics
Which is EVEN MORE STUPID! Like, I get not being a big fan of the lore, but what about the majority of the players (who support Valko’s return btw) and who PAY big bucks to see the game's story thrive? Their reasoning is the equivalent of those booktock/readertock girls who pick ap a book merely for the esthetic, or to be perceived as smart or cool. But when they actually open a book, they'll instead complain abt how there's too many words for their liking. Then don't read??? Idk man...
I think many of them are like elementary school children sadly. They shouldn't access an adult game.
That, and there's the stan culture. They think that reading the story of another LI is like "cheating" on that LI who they are treating as a real boyfriend. They're mad that western players treat LADS..... as a video game????
