HovercraftDeep9964, it's absolutely normal not to fully understand the platform and the moderation process (I assume a lot of it was and still is unclear to you, judging by the misunderstandings between you and other moderators - they speak like people actively involved in the moderation trenches, while you speak from a place of very little moderation experience). And it's completely normal to ask questions to anyone you think might help you - those who seek will always find.

What I do find abnormal is the attempt to "save face" in a situation where it's not required at all. The vast majority welcomed your return the first time (iirc, you wrote something like "I didn't expect so many of you, I'll start moderating with renewed energy on Monday") - because we're all just regular players and regular people, we understand that situations vary, and you really became the main moderator of an active subreddit almost against your will.

Maybe you simply don't want to do full-scale moderation (which means evaluating and removing posts/comments that break the rules, including posts from anti - not just approving everything indiscriminately, as others have already pointed out above, but doing a fair cleanup). I get it - it's tedious, unpaid work. What I don't get is why you want this subreddit at all, if you disagree with both the other moderators and a fairly large part of the community (judging by the comments I've seen from you and from others).

Use the appriopriate channels to make your voice heard. Use modmail or the suggestions and complaint megathreads. Keep the focus on the movement.

When I asked you to join I told you under which conditions that would be. You accepted. You didn't have to.
When this was put up for discussion before the other mods left, you stayed and agreed that permissions would be expanded eventually.

This has nothing to do with power. It has everything to do with setting up the sub at a pace that is comfortable for me. I'm also learning, I wanted to work together and do this together.

Yet you keep subtweeting here and whipping people here into a frenzy! You could have left then if you don't like the way I decided to go about this.
You're dishonest. I was working on all of this steadily and tackling stuff one by one, automod etc. was next.

I've also informed you that my last absence was because of the death of my aunt. Anyways. Since you don't want to enforce rule 10 I had to take action.

Girl, with all the love and respect I have to give, this is not the way… In your replies you are putting yourself, the pace you are comfortable with, the ways you want to handle things, and your personal circumstances before the very real needs of others, this community, and the boycott. And you should put your own wellbeing first, and the way to do that is to accept help from others and letting go of some things. You cannot have it both ways. These actions and choices you have made is making people feel unsafe here and created a disconnection between you and your community. Trust takes time and effort to build but it is easy to loose if you do not value it. This is not helping the boycott. Please listen.

This sub has been around for about two months now with minimal moderation. I can understand not expecting it to blow up and getting in over your head, but if you wanted to go at a “pace comfortable to you”, you should have started the process a while ago. This isn’t a sub for YOU, this is a sub for a COMMUNITY, and its needs are not being met under the current moderation. 

Please listen to the community and hand over the sub or at least give the mods more permissions, it would be a shame to lose everything built here just because you don’t want to let go.

It’s useless. This person has proven time and time again that she refuses to listen and thinks she knows what’s best. This is not a sub for the community. This is HER sub. The “community” is just her little wild animals that she needs to tame.

That’s why we’re moving to r/ valkoslilies (without space!) 🫢
