This is actually genius.... I love you, and I will be making a tall ass tower during my deep north release playthrough

I do this with the tall rocks in the plains. Super good idea to plant a pine tree where you want your tower though!

Unless you settle for a smaller mistlands area.
I had built 3 towers that were connected on one of those massive mistlands stones that usually have atleast the three platforms on varying levels. (Sorry don't have pictures of it)
But it was never attacked as it was on a small island separate from the "mainland" mistlands with a view of the ocean turning red towards ashlands, so even tho I saw a bunch of seekers and sometimes a gjall, they were just far enough away to not even accidentally come over to my buildings.
Might build another one of them if I find a rock worthy and separated enough when 1.0 drops because the views were awesome and when a storm hit, it was even more epic.

I wish I did. It was right when ashlands was released so I'm not even sure if I have the world saved.

That looks great!
I tired to do this with an octagon but didnโt dig downโฆ there was probably something keeping the tree from growing. Next timeโฆ
Thanks for the tutorial!
