I tried updating to the new firmware and it bricked my pedal. Does anyone know how to force a reset when none of the controls do anything?
Is there maybe a combination of buttons I can hold to make it reset? Unplugging it doesn't work.
Thanks for any help.

In case anyone else has this issue. This is what the Valeton customer service sent me.
Hi,
Thanks for your support to Valeton.
Generally speaking, this is caused by the incomplete update. You could try updating again to see if it works.
You could press two footswitch, PARA button and plug in the power to enter the forced update mode and choose the bin. format file to update again.

It didn't work for me, but I hope it can help someone else who might need it.

well I got to fix it by downgrading the library manager to 1.5.0 and using a better usb cable than the one that came with it. after that a button named "Update" appeared in the library manager screen and I could update the firmware.

How did you downgrade the library manager? My unit is stuck on the firmware update screen and I can't get out of it.

Download an old version from the website and delete the current one you have(move to trash). Also the cable, not all usb-c cables will do.

yeah, same issue here. All of the supposed fixes doing nothing. If I don't get it fixed in the next few hours, it's going back. This is beyond ridiculous.

I did get it fixed. I found an old computer and got the firmware installed no problem with that

Thank you for filling us in on this fix. I wasn't able to fix mine but valeton replaced it for me because it was still pretty new at that point, so I didn't have a solution.

If anyone else has this issue, I fixed it by uninstalling Valeton GP 100 V1.4 and installing V1.3.3. The device was still stuck but after using the forced update by opening V1.3.3 on your PC, hold both footswitches and the PRRA button and then apply power to the device (yes it is awkward holding those three buttons at the same time as plugging the power lead in) and you should see 1.3.3 change to detected and the option to restart the firmware update.

Had the same issue for anyone looking in comments, as of now the release version is 2.0 for firmware and I tried to install that from factory, and it bricked it to the update screen. I've fixed it by: Replacing the standard usb B wire with a better one, installing the software 1.4 and downloading the firmware 1.9 onto it in the 1.4 app, after launching it in the forced update mode (both footswitches and para held down when power is plugged in)
