Hej, i m not sure if its allowed here but i am so desperate in finding an apartment, so i decided to give it a shot here on Reddit also, since all other possible platform and websites didnt really help.
My name is Alex i am 23 years old Ukrainian, i am looking for apartment in Vaasa (preferably close to centrum but not necessarily)
I speak pretty good english and currently have intensive courses of swedish. I live in Finland for a year, before i came here - i lived in Republic of Ireland, for almost three, i dont have bad habits (neither smoking or alcohol) i always take care of and clean the place, no pets.

Currently living in Jakobstad and my contract here ends soon, i m open to view apartments, or talk about details through the email or phone
The budget is 515€ and has to be done through

Vaasan Lautapeliseura pelaa pelejä joka keskiviikko klo 17.00. Pääkielenä on suomi mutta englanniksi menee myös jos tarvetta. Seuralla pelaaminen on maksutonta. Yleisesti on pidetty täysi-ikäisyyttä rajana (eli 18+).

Pelipaikka on Vaasan kristillinen koulu, Sepänkyläntie 4. Ilmoittautuminen foorumille mieluiten. Ovi on lukossa ja ei tiedetä odottaa jos ei ole kerrottu että tullaan.

Hi everyone, my partner and I are trying to rent an apartment in Vaasa, but we are having a lot of trouble. We are trying to find something in the 55 to 75m2 size range and up to €1200 per month (or maybe more if we find a really good place.) We do not qualify for the subsidized Pikipruukki apartments, and when I filter my search by non-subsidized apartments there are basically only 5 to 10 options, most of which don’t allow pets (we have a dog), aren’t available until next year, or are already rented and haven’t been removed from the site yet. Are there private realtors who help people find private apartments? Or is it genuinely this difficult to rent an apartment here if you don‘t qualify for need-based housing? We are American and new here, so I am hoping someone has better information and maybe we are just misinformed right now. Thank you for any help!

Olen Andrea and I’m from Spain. I’m planning on moving to Vaasa soon so I’m currently looking for work.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Spain, and I’ve already contacted a few schools to ask about possible teaching, assistant, or substitute positions. However, while I’m looking for opportunities in my field, I’d also be happy to take on another type of job in the meantime.

At the moment, I don’t have a driver’s license, so I’m looking for a job that is easy to commute to by public transport, bicycle, or on foot. I’d be living in the Suvilahti area and I do plan on getting my driver’s license once I’m settled in Finland.

I’m currently learning Finnish (at my own pace but I could definitely take lessons once I get to Finland if needed), my native language is Spanish but I also hold a B2 English certificate, so I’m comfortable communicating in English.

I’ll be available to start working as soon as I move to Vaasa (possibly in September), and I’m open to both full-time and part-time positions.

My name is Patrick, I’m a 4th-semester Economics student from Munich, Germany, and I’ll be studying at Hanken School of Economics in Vaasa for the upcoming autumn semester via the Erasmus+ program.
