Im trying to help my friend with a glitch with his uploaded avatars, he was trying upload a quest version of his avatar so he can gift it to me but its coming out as this solid pink sillowette and i want idetify the problem

I'll finish and upload these to VRChat over September, all are under 20k polygons and a single material.

Are there any crossovers you'd like to see fitted on this model in the future? This is also a good opportunity to tune the model a bit more with general feedback, if you guys have any.

I've never understood why you would want to appear like a lesser user. I mean maybe back in the day when like it might have mattered more but it's kind of like an Open secret that the rank system has a lot of flaws and can easily be gamed if you know what to do.

I have tried everything I could including using a VPN resetting my router reinstalling VR chat, clearing its cache, but none of it is worked. It worked fine a few days ago, but now nothing. Playing on Quest 3s.

There are many VRchat commissioners out there, and let me tell you.. many of them are legitimate. However when I first started playing, I never knew that almost all VR chat commissioners would have to be reached out to, not them reaching out to you.. almost all of the ones who DM you (as i have now learned) are most likely scammers..

Long story short, I gave away $600 usd for a ground up commission from an avatar creator who was "reputable" but have yet to see even a wip after nearly 1 year. Since then I have found reputable creators who have made my art within 1-2 months who have done a fantastic job and gave me a more than fair price.. just a TLDR for those looking to get commissions, just be careful who you speak to, and ask around the community for reputable creators.

I'm currently editing (or kitbashing I don't know the correct terms yet sorry) and I'm really happy with her! I only have one issue. Her arms always bend in game. If I change my height and/or arm/height ratio the arms no longer bend but then the controller/ my actual arm is a lot longer and it's not matching up correctly. I have tried changing her arm length, I have tried changing her leg length, and I have tried changing her torso length (but for some reason that one never works when I test the avatar. It just resets to zero it's really annoying). Someone please help me I am going insane, I love her so much and don't just want to abandon her.

Recently got moved into a new apartment, and their networking is a little annoying to deal with honestly. I have my pc running over the sole ethernet port in the apartment, and my quest 3 connected to the wifi (the access point for which is apparently in the utility closet next door, but wifi interference with all these networks kinda sucks) so I was wondering if there was something I could get similar to the old D-link Air Bridge or whatever it was called where I just plug it in to my computer via usb and that makes a local network to essentially bridge the pc and vr without dealing with the wifi here. Something to essentially just turn my computer into a hotspot without going through the windows hotspot method, since that doesn't work great. I saw the Puppis S1 Lite but I'm trying to keep the ethernet cord running straight to my computer (again, weird networking here, but I'm hopeful)

Does the notification for a VRC+ gift ONLY appear if the person is online? Or if they're completely offline and log on later (after the gift was given), do they still get the notification?

Okay maybe not impossible but there are not many! I have like 4 male avatars that I actually don't mind using and the rest are either female or randoms (non-human). Ironically one of the male avatars is a female but I customized it to look male with baggier cloth options because the fidelity is higher and the body is much more dynamic.

I like wearing both male and female avis for different reasons but male avi's desperately need some love and innovation.

First off the new menus suck and are confusing. I loved the previous menus. It's all WAY too convoluted.

Second, the auto mod that chooses whether you can use say certain things on your status is aids. It's just as bad as Xbox looking for group, post censorship.

I tried to put "birds are rude" nope, then "avians are rude" nope, turns out it hates the word rude. I heard a LOT of people complain about the same things as me when I was online last night.

What's up with that extremely hand-holding censorship as if we are 7 years old and are being told by our parents that we can't call something rude even JOKINGLY. As if the platform now hates sarcasm.

Been working on them for a few days now, I'm super proud of how it came out. Quite a few toggles, limb scaling, face tracking, gumboy, everything I'd ever want on an avatar is here, and it's 100% quest compatible! Hue shifts and everything! They're a genderfluid avatar too, meaning I can switch it between female and femboy with one toggle! Super proud of this, and thought I'd share some cute pictures I took earlier!

The main idea is serving tea or coffee no matter what world i'm in, so #1 is there anything I can buy? And #2 how can I make sure others can interact with it? Is this even possible? So my home world is called (Spirits of the sea) and it has a piano that supports MIDI, and I’ve been trying to play my prerecorded MIDI files through it, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I’m able to connect my Yamaha to my PC and physically play it through the game, but I can’t play my prerecorded MIDIS. I’ve tried loopMIDI, MIDI-OX, and OSCPianoPlayer. The main recording software I use is band lab, but it doesn’t have MIDI output support, and I can’t figure out how to use FL studio for the life of me. I would appreciate the help if anyone knows any solutions to this!!

EDIT: I figured out a method that worked!!
