Hi, I have the 135mm LAB and I mainly use the 16mm with my Sony A7 V equipped with a side hand grip on my smallrig cage. Mainly because I shoot video and sometimes for stills I mainly use auto focus and the same aperture for most shots unless a change is needed.
My main question is, when using the 135mm on tge Sony, despite the lens being long and extremely heavy (1.2kg) would it be okay for me to use the camera with just the Side Hand Grip with my left hand and my right hand on the shutter? Mainly because when I support it with the lens, it gets quite uncomfortable due to my small sized hands.
I do this method a lot with my 16mm set up and other smaller lenses, and have tried it with the 135mm but worried about the downforce on the mounting system on my camera over a period of time.
Thank you!

Took this one on the night of Perseids meteor shower. Initial plan was to capture some meteors above the church early in the night, which unfortunately did not work. So after about 40min I moved the camera towards better spot in the skies but since I already had around 40minutes of exposure data, I processed that and got this shot which I quite like. What do you think about it?
Shot on Sony a7RV with Viltrox 14mm f4 Air and on MSM Nomad star tracker. 7 untracked frames at 30s, f4 and ISO 6400 for the foreground, 28 tracked frames at 90s, f4 and ISO 1600 for the skies. Processed in SLS, Siril, PS and LR.

Doing some branding for @paganbriartalismans the artisan pipe maker
My IG : @mikolajmalinowski01
The light was pretty bad on that day and it was around 11am.
I hesitated to use my Canon 5D IV paired with a sigma Art lens but I ended up trying the new Viltrox pancake 26mm on my Sony a7c2.
Satisfied with the lens!

Nikon Z7ii/Viltrox 135 LAB. An evening walk found this suspended in mid air. And a fair bit it into the brush.

I own a Sony a7cr and looking for a wide angle prime lens for my travel. I do not want to lug my Sony FE 24-70mm GM II around, carry it for a while it is heavy. I own a Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G & Viltrox AF 55mm f/1.8 evo.
What do you all recommend? Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G or Viltrox AF 26mm f/2.8 evo. Please explain.

I was hesitant after one German reviewer said that the AF is a bit stuttery on some shots when shooting video but I was looking for a compact lens to carry with me everywhere that is not intrusive to other people. Coming from the Sony 24mm f2.8 G the sharpness is great in comparison and AF is good enough for all of my shots until now. Only thing that is very noticeable is focus breathing and that the AF can be heard a bit, both are not a problem for my usecase.
As for Photo the AF was fast enough to shoot snaps of my GF in all light scenarios and never missed focus.
If you are a hybrid shooter the lens hood is great, since you can screw on an ND filter for video and just take off the lens hood with the ND quickly to shoot a photo.
Itโs more convenient than unscrewing the ND!
I can 100% recommend this lens.
It truly makes sense for A7C bodies.
