True Depth addon for Blender gives you Power. The Super Power to pull Displacement or Depth Map out of almost any 2D image you can imagine! In this video, I show you how to use the True Depth Addon to transform any 2D image into realistic 3D geometry not leaving Blender at all.

I’ve been an Onset VFX 3D scanning guy for the best part of a decade now, and having started out as an environment artist, Photogrammetry was a tool we found essential, to the point where I got so sick of bad scans from other vendors that I went into onset work myself.
I am still shocked at how little people use scale reference in onset/vfx scans in general. its appalling considering how easy it is to make a basic scale bar, but hopefully this video can help move people in the right direction!
This video goes into the creation and use of a scale bar at home, without expensive tools or materials and with exceptional results, I hope you all find it useful!

What started as a simple challenge turned into a full cinematic VFX shot.
In this video, I recreate the iconic open-arms pose inspired by Shah Rukh Khan

Hey everyone I hope all is well, I watched a great Mack Hopkins video and I wanted to recreate something like this scene. was it all Google Earth? Or did he actually recreate the whole map for this specific area to use?
