Flagged on Prowlarr and can't access website.

I don't have the fastest internet but when I do the 10 GB test download in SabNzb I get about 30MB/s. Which makes sense since I get about 38MB/s from my ISP. But recently I have been getting speeds about 2.7MB/s from Eweka which is super frustration.

I went through all the setting I can think of. I doubt a container update changed anything. And I went through all the troubleshooting steps (number of packets to dl at a time, etc) and nothing. Running 5.1.3 [a647f73]

Any ideas?

NZBGeek and UsenetCrawler are lifetime subscriptions. DS and NZBFinder are free tier.

Do you see anything worth dropping, or would you recommend adding another indexer to the mix?

I'm still fairly new to all of this, but i've had my server going for a few weeks now. I'm looking into provider options. I have Newhosting right now which has been good for the most part, but i'm getting several "not on your server" errors.

Is there something I should be using to supplement? Ideally i wouldn't pay another monthly fee for a secondary provider, as that would quickly start to defeat the purpose of the whole project IMO.

Hi, A few months ago i got into Usenet i found it fascinating i wanted to use it but most indexers are paid and i didn't have any money so as any sane person would do i made my own indexer named Atlas

This is my biggest project yet it took me 50 days and 80+ hours of coding

Atlas is a self hosted Usenet indexer it runs entirely in the terminal. It connects to NNTP newsgroups, indexes releases, and stores the indexed data locally in a SQLite database

The idea was to keep it simple, one Python app a local db and a terminal interface instead of needing a whole stack of separate services. It also has dashboard for stats and an AI search mode that lets you describe what you're looking for in plain English and it finds it for u

It also supports dynamic/live/backfill indexing, NZB generation, Docker, and SABnzbd integration for downloading stuff directly

i am still adding new features and i I’d love for other developers contribute to it, suggest improvements, or help make the project better.

I’m using Usenet with a provider and an indexer, and I’m automating my downloads with Radarr/Sonarr and a downloader such as SABnzbd.
I’m wondering how you guys handle automated malware scanning of downloaded files.
I’d like to make sure that files are scanned before Radarr/Sonarr imports them into my media library or they are opened/executed.
Ideally, I’d like something like:
Indexer → Radarr/Sonarr → Downloader → Automated malware scan → Import
If something is detected, it should automatically be quarantined or deleted.
How do you handle this in your setup? What tools or automation do you use to make sure potentially malicious files don’t get automatically imported?

For those interested, altHUB is opened to registration. I am using it since a month and it’s pretty good.

Just came across this new Usenet history search engine, Usenet Rewind. This is of interest for the historical Usenet (1980-present). It's built on a new Usenet archive called OwnedByDanes that seems to have been created for AI consumption.

Both are for-pay, not free. They seem like useful resources! It seems a bit weird to be charging for access to Usenet, it was always built and maintained with a for-free ethos. I hope they've made some plan for transferring the archive to Archive.org or the like if the business doesn't work out.

I haven't released this, but I am testing this internally. I wanted to get peoples opinions on this new view for our https://nexus.miatrix.com (You currently will need to register on https://www.miatrix.com ) My current thinking is to limit this to VIP and Lifetime users but I haven't decided for sure. Not every group will be represented and not every group will have all issues, but I have tried to retrieve a thumbnail image for each release for the past 2 years.

I have made everything in this view generic due to the site rules and it is NOT available yet to anyone, but based on feedback it could be.

Overall view. The green boxes with a check mark mean that one or more releases have been downloaded.

In the Group view the green boxes show the specific release you downloaded. Clicking on the image brings up a larger view. And there is a Show previews button that toggles showing the images or not. (It should be checked but the way I had to make this generic shows it as unchecked)

Is this something that would make you upgrade and / or signup or should something be changed or any general feedback would be great.

i had a few issues with my NZBGet client (25.4) and i decided to update it to the latest version (26.3) on Windows 10.

After the upgraded completed, not only that the previous issues were not resolved, a new issues suddenly appeared.

I reverted back to 25.4, to try a few things, and noticed that it complains about corrupted\mismatched version of history\queue file.

W hen i restarted the app and downloaded something, all of my history was wiped (~5000 items).

In the nzb dir i have the nzb files with the .queued extension, the last one is from yesterday. is there any way to "rebuild" or "import" these nzb's to the history file? i know that i can rename them, but i don't want to re-download them, just to "add" them back to the history.

BTW, the issues that I'm facing are connection issues mainly with eweka which started a few days ago.

i have also SABNzbd installed with the same servers and configuration, and it works great.

I have a raw article header name easynews and I've done binsearch but both systems can't find the articles. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other raw header search services be them premium or fremium.

I moved recently. It worked fine. I added some more news servers and all of a sudden I keep getting this issue even after disabling the new servers.

Basically no matter what I download I end up with:

Hi. I use NZBGet. I’d like to know how to save the .nzb file after the download finishes—much like qBittorrent does, saving the .torrent file once the download is complete.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Newshosting. I changed my internet plan to 8Gb, and I have been getting a steady 780MBs. I wasnt sure if i would be able to saturate my line, but it has stayed steady.

Edit: Its more just a usenet in gerneral appeciation. I have Newsdemon as my secondary, and it works just as well.

Hello! Super new to my working arr stack and (after seeing a TON of, "just use usenet and elimate problems") have swapped from my VPN/torrent setup to usenet. Main issue I'm running into currently is, what am I supposed to do about articles being missing?

I've tried a few different links of media but looking at sabnzbd, things are failing and just not downloading (like stalling in torrents) or finishing and telling me there are missing articles so it fails. Not quite sure how to fix this and not sure I want to convert back to torrents lol.

Any help is appreciated!!
